Could it be that they just didn’t want to put in what presumably is still at least a couple of hundred thou into CGI and motion capturing for what was ultimately just a thirty-second cameo appearance, so decided to go with the cheaper option for the guy whose whole deal is literally going backwards and forwards

Regards character development, I found it even crazier that Shang-Chi himself was a complete cipher. Outside of the MCU that might be fine, but within it I can’t think of another Marvel protagonist who has had so little personality or actual character traits. Even worse because he’s surrounded on all sides by

I’m hoping the MCU never sinks as low as the comics has with creating unnecessarily convoluted Hulks.

It seemed pretty obvious to me.

The sister spent her whole life trying to be the “Mandarin” and the only obstacle was her father standing in her way. She didn’t learn that crime was bad, she learned that family was good... which is a thing her dad already believed while being a huge criminal.

Professional reviews I’m seeing are, on balance, not nearly as keen as this review. With some, like IW, absolutely savaging it. Everyone seems to agree it’s a spectacle, but I’m seeing a lot reviews tiring of Villeneauve’s overly formalized style, which while painterly, can also feel inert, even in spectacle. Most

I don’t think so? The Indiewire review (which is fairly brutal) specifically calls out the pacing.

As I literally just came home from watching this film, I’m just going to put this reaction here. It is a personal opinion and I’m not arguing this as some grand truth, in fact based on AV Club’s general commentary so far I assume I will be in the minority with this which is fine.

Yup.

“Sounding suspicious as hell”, “not trusting banks”, and “raising red flags for random internet commentators” is not, as far as I’m aware, any legal test for the seizure of assets.

The original Razorfist only had one sword hand unlike his more famous successor.

Or you can expand your net further beyond your immediate area. Perhaps a dealer in an area where 2500 series trucks aren’t as popular will be more cooperative.

Wowzers, I got an inverse number of copies with respect to the order in which I pasted the pictures.  Extreme Kinja indeed.

But for the asking price, I’d rather have an actual Corvette rather than this thing with a Corvette engine.

Also - having read the comments - I don’t want to see anyone else complain that companies aren’t making enough fun, interesting vehicles, with unique colors, “happy faces”, and a stick shift. Because: That. Is. Exactly. What. This. Is.

Tangentially pertinent question, has anyone ever seen a high mileage example of one of these?

“I understand that reality is reality, but on a personal level do not understand why I have to be bound by it.”

This is fun early 00's time capsule, but I wonder what the driving factor of an SSR is to a potential buyer. Someone that just loves the SSR and wants one of the finest examples available? You’re still likely $6-8K over where most examples would be.

This might be a nice price if first prize in the ugliest car contest is $50,000.
