Nope, perfectly fine. May cause rust spots, searching for unobtainable transmission parts, fitment issues with shoddy knockoff replacement parts, grease under fingernails and a smaller bank account. Mileage may vary.

Bertha Cool built like a spool of barbed wire and twice as tough.

Without side mirrors, wipers, heat or A/C, I think this thing is worth $5000 at most. IF the idiot seller finishes the truck, then it might be worth $9000.

Bingo. No mirrors, no windshield wipers, and no chance of passing smog in California where it sits.  So I hope whoever bought it lives someplace with a very loose DMV.

Is it possible that it wont pass Cali inspections/smog and can’t be plated so just needs to get rid of it?

...we used to watch it at noon when I was in HS...

You’re clearly a member in good standing of the Little Church of Perry Mason.

I was a tyke when the series was in is waning days as a syndication juggernaut and still encounter racks of the books in used book stores so I was mildly curious but that came to a crashing halt upon hearing this is a prequel. I don’t need to see how Perry and Della and Paul all came together. I especially could not

It’s the only show on MeTV that has two timeslots in the weekday lineup. You’d be surprised how many people still watch the show, despite it being in black and white.

Not to pry, but are you are Portlander?  Or was Perry Mason at noon a thing elsewhere?

yeah, and then they recycled it into Matlock

I don’t think there’s much of a risk of whiplash from this version of Mason. Most people who would watch probably have a familiarity with the original show in general but doubtful were full-on fans. I’m in my 40s and vaguely remember watching a handful of reruns as a kid, but that’s about it.

To be fair while its not an unusual thing to happen on daytime soap operas, its rare that a tv drama or sitcom replaces a lead actor with a new actor playing the same role.

I was not a huge fan of the show but I gotta say I am pumped as hell for the new season because every subsequent piece of news about it sounds like it’s gonna be a total trainwreck and I am here for it, baby.

I only thought it was a streaming video service. That’s actually pretty sweet now that I know I can get comics there too. Thanks!

I love DC Universe. Probably the only service I actually get my money’s worth. Of course, I spend 80% of my time reading the comics.

So why is Michael Bay a free man?

You mean the ol’ lady out back?
