Nah, that's clearly GM's electric Silverado prototype in disguise. The Ford wheels is a clear misdirect.

Jalopnik so angry at Cybertruck.

I love how the power figure at the beginning of the article is at 500 but goes up 100hp every time it's mentioned, until peak insanity is reached at 900hp.

It’s funny how many people here think overblown altercations between the rich and poor must always result in reprimand for the rich. If it were anybody else, yes your president included, no one will blink an eye. But it’s ELON!!!! He insulted a man!!!! Take half of Tesla and burn all his followers!!! Cultists!!!

This should have never even ended up in court. Two guys traded insults.

Why are you shocked? Unsworthy made an insult first and provoked Musk into insulting back. You can’t provoke a person with an insult then sue them.

These numbers sound crazy and really high don’t they? No, they don’t. The number of total rides is enormous.

Over 3,000 sexual assaults and 9 murders... so still better than the NYC subway system?

Whether or not they use the same database is irrelevant. How they choose to use the information gathered is what is relevant.

It kind of is a society thing though. The numbers are low enough to be background noise in the grand scheme.

One of the people who works for me was under indictment for felony domestic violence and kidnapping when he decided it would be a good idea to pick up a side gig to cover his lawyer bills. Lyft declined him as a driver in 10 minutes because things like that show up in an actual background check and SHOULD disqualify

The actual number is 99.9998 I believe.

This apple is red. That orange is orange.

How does this compare to say, the taxi industry?  Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but this really doesn’t feel like a huge number considering the 1.3 billion rides they facilitated.  Also, the half that were reported by the drivers is sort of surprising, but not something you can blame Uber for, right?

I’d really like to know who those numbers compare (on a per ride basis) with taxis, livery cars, and lyft. They sound appalling, but without knowing the competition you can’t really tell if that’s just the product of providing a ton of rides.

Great!  Go buy it.

Jeez they should’ve just made this the redesign for the standard model. I dunno how well sales are doing for the plain ol’ GT-R but certainly this would pique interest and sell enough to get the $50 mil they’re trying to get with this. I mean bump up the price for the standard model to $120k and they just have to sell

Best looking? Sure. Worth nearly 10x what a standard GT-R sells for, based on a twelve year old platform? Hell freaking no

On the topic of pedestrian safety... all of a sudden this is a concern?
