Yeah there’s really no there, there. So Tesla wants to make a splash. Are they damaging the track? Are they damaging or blocking or harming other cars? Is there an actual harm being done to anyone, anywhere? “Panties in a bunch” is an aggro thing to say but it’s kinda true here. 

This is rich, when Porsche’s “record” was (A) not official, (B) on non-stock “summer tires” (only all-seasons are available stock), (C) a prototype (indeed, before the car even went into production), (D) stripped and modified, to the extent that you can even see the roll cage.

Yeah, he said “ I like Tesla... I really do”. Yeah. We get it. And yeah, Musk was an idiot to make a false claim about being at the Nuremberg track. But clearly this site has a beef with this guy because this is seriously the 3rd or 4th article bashing Tesla in less than 24 hours. There’s no shortage of automakers…

We......get it......you hate Tesla. Now I f you only focused all of your hate of Elon Musk or Tesla and put that energy towards posts that were actually constructive or funny. Your site would be so much better.

I’m with James May in that I think tuning a street car for the ‘ring makes it a worse street car, and thus it is a waste of resources to tune a saloon for the ‘ring when all it does is make bench racers hard.

I can’t recall ever reading anything so impassioned a car running on the Nürburgring.  Take a step back, man.

But as far as I can tell these tires appear nowhere on the Model S’s option list. This is one upgrade that Elon can’t do with an over the air update.
