I’m fortunate enough to work for a company that has an employee gym on site. It’s not much, but it has free weights, its free, usually never crowded, and I don’t have to drive to get to it after work.

That’s one of the first things I’d consider! I don’t get how people live on major roads with medians, forcing them to leave their driveway in one direction, or pull out directly into rush hour traffic.

I was thinking the same thing. I suppose you could VCN Connect in and then run a shell...but that’s kinda clunky.

I was in the same boat with the language shift.

I can vouch for Java being in demand. Took way longer then expected to find new hires last year who were Java devs. I suppose it varies from city to city though.

Is it just me or is the fronthoe/claw operator bad at his job? I kept waiting for a satisfying, mouthful of a bite from the machine. Instead it glances off or just gets a small chunk more times then not.

I agree with trying to find a balance! You never know whats going to happen in life. I’ve known healthy people that had their lives cut short, seemingly out of the blue.

I’m in my mid 20's, fortunate enough to make decent money, max my 401K, save money every pay check, and plan to open a separate retirement savings…
