This is the week I start my Christmas shopping. So a TV, apple watch and some clothes are on my list for others. Also a Pixel 3a to myself to so I can put down my limping 5x.

lol, I said the same thing. I assumed it was a Zombies thing, which I haven’t played yet.

Guess it was hit or miss depending on where you live. I bought it online around 11 am that morning and picked it up at noon. There were 8 PS4s bundles still sitting on shelves.

It’s physical. Picked mine up from Target this past Sunday.

Obligatory “whats a f***ing Pool Boy” comment.

My CPO Acura TLX came with a warranty extension. Car was a year old and had 12,000 miles on it. So the CPO warranty extension was essentially a ‘new’ warranty to me, but a year further into the cars life.

This is such a great point! I lived by this motto for the first 3 years out of school. I was able to pay off $30k in student loans and some rather large, unexpected medical bills. Now being debt free, that monthly amount of X dollars that originally went to debt payments, is split up for rent in a nicer place and

lol, glad I’m not the only one who had to read the title a couple times for it to finally click.

I bought a cast iron pan just for eggs....but I’ve had nothing but burnt on egg remains and lengthy pan cleanings afterwards. Did it just take awhile for you to build up a good layer of seasoning? I love the pan for everything else i can cook in it but eggs have been a real let down.

The Alexa SMS functionality works great. Nearly spot on with word dictation and also attaches an audio file of what I said. I’ve found it pretty useful these past couple days.

I completely hear what you’re saying. As others have commented, I wouldn’t treat this as a ‘main’ form of saving, but rather as an ‘extra’ form of saving. Speaking from personal habits, if I have month left over in my bank account after bills/expenses I would usually justify a reason to spend it. With Qapital that

Thanks for the shout out Alicia!

I missed that, I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. Looks like the equivalent of Acorns, with Qapital’s saving engine.

It really expands the possibilities, save when: the ISS passes over head, you get get likes on Instagram, your favorite team plays, it’s really hot/cold outside, etc.

I used Acorns in the past, but switched to Qapital. I liked Acorns, but the cost of using it negated anything I made, and you were at the mercy of the market, which could lead to (big) losses. Qapital doesn’t invest money into stocks like Acorns (so it’s not a 1-1 comparison if you’re only looking for stock gains) but

These are a million times better then the original TP-Link smart plugs that are always apart of random promos. Energy monitoring, doesn’t block the other outlet, cheaper, and in my usage just as reliable.

Stay home from school for being ‘sick’? My mom would laugh at you. I didn’t miss a single day, literally not one, from kindergarten through senior year of HS. Had perfect attendance every year. I was sent to school no matter how I felt, sick or not. My mom wasn’t going to “waste money on a private education for me to
