Madam, this is a Wendy's.

If you are going to count all those VP’s taking over when Presidents had colonoscopies and cite Atchison, then you should mention Alexander Haig and his “I’m in control” press conference when Reagan was shot.

Looks like they have a relatively high income tax, although it is graduated.  I bet they make a lot of money off hotel taxes.  Get the tourists to fund the government instead of the locals.

Unfrosted Pop Tarts are a war crime.

If you have been in a hospital, you have been treated by one. Most nurses work three 12s a week and much prefer it. More days off or they can pick up a 4th day occasionally, get OT, and still have 3 days off.

I don’t think he was acquiring them with a prescription. Even if he found several doctors to write him prescriptions, he couldn’t get them filled by a pharmacy. That’s a schedule II drug and pharmacies have to enter those into a database. It gets flagged if they try to fill it too soon.

Yes, real CPR is hard work. You can probably do more than 2 minutes, but not much more. 5 is a very long time. If he did this with a lot of trained people around it is likely some of them took turns or if you do 2 person CPR, the two of you can switch off because giving rescue breaths or bagging someone is less taxing.

More environmentally friendly solution: serve them to people you don't like.

Maybe this bread is why Giselle is divorcing him.

I don’t completely agree with that but even if it is true in general, it is hard to argue that there aren’t any episodes that are well written. The thing about TV is that different episodes will be written and directed by different people. The whole writers room might have a hand in it but mostly an episode script

If I were sentencing him and he tried to use the “everybody does it” defense, I might try to send a message to let “everybody” know that they were putting themselves at risk for spending a very, very, very, very, long time in a very unpleasant prison.

This is the video I was expecting and new Kinja wouldn’t show.

I don’t know if it was intentional, but focusing on TV may turn out to be a smart move for them. The pressure is lower and it lets them take a little time to tell stories. The seasonal and episodic nature lets them react in real-ish time to what is working and what is not instead of over-thinking and over-reacting to

It could be real.  Maybe the animal they make them from is going extinct.

Your username calls your dietary preferences into question. Especially when it comes to meats of uncertain provenance (another good band name).

Heated on a sandwich can be ok, but just plain deli meat out of the microwave? There is a reason they are called “cold cuts.”

“Steaming hot microwaved deli meat” is both a good band name and the most unappetizing foodstuff I have ever heard of.

Has WB done anything to suggest they have the ability to plan a big, connected, cinematic universe? Or the patience to lay the groundwork that would make it successful?

The internet tells me one penny in 1978 is worth about 4.5 cents now. But, that 1978 penny was pure copper and if you still have it in your pocket it is probably worth 2 cents on its own.

It is probably only being released in theaters to make it Oscar eligible. The Academy reinstated that rule this year.
