From what got from the plot. They just wanted to explain who the doom slayer is. All the lore and story is just to tell you the doom slayer from that game and is a demi god now.

To induce trading Pokemon. Each version has their own set of Pokemon the other version can do not have. To getthem you have to trade with other people. Added some Pokemon only evolves when traded.

It’s a looter shooter. It always has a grind. the question how fun the grind is not if it has one. If you played games like warframe you would know this. They are doing this so you have a full feel of the gameplay not to hide any thing.

1. Super did not do that any less. I mean he put a hit on himself so he can have something new to fight for goodness sake. He helped atated a battle royal for the fate of multiple universes just to have something new to fight. Super made his flaws stand out more.
