Am I the only one who was mildly freaked out by the Sims 4 intro music???

Having lived in China for a year (and patronized this particular store on several occasions), nothing about this is surprising to me. If there are two things the Chinese love, it’s illegal porn and Uniqlo.
Gizmo Wanegarden...I kind of love it.
When I lived in China two years ago my apartment had no air conditioning (and barely any heat). The first month was fucking miserable, but after that I got used to the heat and it didn’t really bother me. After trudging up the stairs to my fifth floor walk-up I would collapse in front of a fan for fifteen or twenty…
Cue YASSSSSS gifs, because I’m not technologically advanced enough to do it myself.
Hahaha yes, when Lucious kills a man it becomes a multi-episode intrigue but when Cookie Lyon takes care of business it never resurfaces.
On the one hand, I don't really approve of fur from an ethical standpoint. On the other hand, if I had to approve of ANYONE wearing fur, it would be Cookie Lyon, hands down.
He sounds like a terrible hacker tbh. What kind of hacker gets caught EVERY TIME he hacks something? Learn to cover your tracks brah.
Ugh a guy I went to high school with did this. He met a girl on instagram, over the course of a year saw her in person for a grand total of 23 days, and just moved TO CANADA to marry her and live with her there. We are from Maryland.
Maryland RenFest is the greatest thing ever, and the perfect opportunity to indulge in our glorious state sport of jousting.
The one on Fifth isn't gonna be the best food you've ever tasted but its cheap and good enough. A lot of my Indian friends like it there. If the pho place you're going to is Miss Saigon on Craig then I'd say keep away. It's alright but not great by any means. I haven't tried it anywhere else though.
Mr. Roman wasn't at the talk and he doesn't speak for the community. He's just the guy they happened to ask for a quote.
True, but then again, writers often include the most provoking quotes they get, not necessarily the most commonly said ones. And you're right, I wasn't at the talk either, this is just coming from what I've heard from a few friends that a did go. I trust their judgement, but I also recognize that their perceptions are…
Everything you said is definitely true. I don't support a lot of the shit Israel does (and I'm not Jewish, btw). I just thought that the rationale behind a lot of this anger should be said by someone on this thread.
I agree we need balance but balance seems to have been sorely lacking from this panel as well. Fighting vitriol with more vitriol isn't going to help anyone.
Ehhhhh. I guess we can agree to disagree on that point. Regardless, such comments would naturally incense people supportive of Israel.
There are a bunch of Indian places on Craig street in Oakland, though I've never been to one. Yuva India is supposed to be good, and I like Prince of India for takeout. That's on Fifth Avenue.
While that may be true it still doesn't change the fact that many offensive things were said that are genuinely worth getting angry about. Getting so upset just because of the food being offered would indeed be ridiculous—and for some people that is their reason—but ignoring the main cause for concern is kind of…
Try Rose Tea Cafe, it's widely considered to be the most authentic place in town by the local Chinese community. There's a Hunan place on Atwood (which is incidentally also a Cuban restaurant) that's also pretty good, if you feel like descending into South Oakland.
I've been to at least one of the places you're talking about and I agree, delicious. Frederick is the best—plus there's a delightfully high number of tea shops in old town.
