The white model then changed to a Middle Eastern model afterwards. It’s not quite what it appears in that screen grab. That “before and after” ad (from Keith Boykin’s tweet) going from dark to white while simultaneously going from dirty to clean is much more obviously offensive. The original ad was just a gif of

It’s absolutely terrible that hundreds of teenage girls were illegally manhandled under purported color of law, but really...

Lort. I’m sitting in Gwinnett County right now. Ain’t but four mofos who live in the entire county who are NOT Korean. So this is extra weird.

I’m not sure why chicken in the KFC gravy would be alarming, considering that most gravy is made from the drippings of roasted meat. I would be more concerned if there wasn’t any meat/animal product in it.

It’s just too bad Jimmy John is such a piece of shit garbage person, though.

You mean to tell me Taco Bell doesn’t serve freshly diced and seasoned kobe beef?

Let’s not concentrate on fast food joints too much here either - this is about chains of all stripes, not just drive thru grease dispensers. Pop guns in particular are a vile scourge that should be banned...

It’s Taco Bell. I’ve always *assumed* the meats and such were precooked.

You know the beauty of buying bananas? I don’t have a salesperson trying to sell me bananas. I know I want bananas. I know I want 6 bananas. I know the condition of the bananas I want. I don’t need some idiot telling me I really want 4 apples.

Can we start beating up people though?

A better analogy for your eating out scenario is that 2 bars who sell the same beer . One costs $5 and the other $7. The customer who chooses to pay $5 for their beer is not doing it to harm the server at the restaurant who charges $7. Is is the restaurant who is harming the server by not being competitive.

I have no idea why I even need a salesperson, give me teslas model all day long. I don’t need some greasy salesman trying to change me 400 bucks for floor mats.

How is he beating anyone up.. It’s simple.. if Target and Walmart are setlling the same TV and target has it or $50 less, where are you going, they’re both providing the same service.

I’m not “beating up” anyone. I have a job to do if you don’t like that job you don’t have to cooperate. No one forces anyone to do anything in this business.

This is a system the dealerships created. It’s not the customer’s fault you don’t make much money when they get the best deal. If you don’t want to sell them a car at a certain price you have the choice not to. Just like the customer has the choice to take a better offer elsewhere.

No. That is just being bad at haggling. The other guy in that equation is haggling, you are not.

Their first offer is never their final offer, even if you do accept it, ‘cause they keep adding shit on before they complete the paperwork. Most no haggle places the first offer is a first and final offer. You can choose add ons, like the warranty, but it is always take it or leave it on those too.

Losing a $30k sale over $100 is actually them being a victim of their own success. You can’t be a no-haggle dealership, especially a big-name one with a reputation, and then make deals. It kills the reputation and the reason for your existence.

I don’t say this to be rude, but isn’t this “no duh”? I mean... they gave you a price and said it’s a no-haggle price. You then learned their price was not reasonable, and attempted to haggle.... and it didn’t work. At least they’re being honest with their policy. Just because it’s no-haggle doesn’t mean it’s any

You... you... just leave cargo shorts alone! They are practical! PRAAACTAAACALLLL!
