I’m glad to have this show back. The look of the show continues to impress me, as I especially loved the intro where it zoomed from one planet/location to the next to show all the players in the upcoming war. Also loved everything dealing with Bobby, Cotyar, Avasarala, and engineer guy escaping. I echo other comments

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this show, which has been getting better with each episode. It is as if the writing team has been gaining confidence.

I liked the movie, Jim Preston, and the central story. The awakening wasn’t played for laughs or ignored, it was dealt with head on. Aurora gets PISSED at him for the longest time. Eventually she forgives him...on her own terms. She is even given the opportunity to go back to sleep using the medical lab and decides

-”Is the Admiral dead?” - I thought in L’Rell’s last scene with Kol she said something about the Admiral escaping. So, did she let her escape from the ship or was she talking about escaping the holding cell? Either way, Kol was pissed. I hope she’s not dead.

That would explain a few things:

I was creeped out by that shot. First of all, no offense to Mr. Rapp, but his pale skin, nearly nonexistent eyebrows, black eyes make his mouth/gums seem very blood red. So whenever he opens his mouth to laugh or shout I get freaked out. When Dr. Culber walked away, I thought Stametz was going to reveal he became sick

I don’t understand why it is so hard to call this episode a good, decent, or any other positive adjective show, instead of “not terrible”. No one talks like that. Or if you didn’t like it just say so. We’re 5 episodes in...I think by now you should know if you like the show or not.

Oh, if you mean Silver...yeah he’s pretty annoying in season 1, but he gets better. All the male characters improve; sadly, the female characters did not get very good writing in the show.

They go into Captain Flint’s origin story in season 2 and it is very interesting and you won’t see him the same way after that. There’s a reason he acts the way he does.

When did you give up on the show? The first few episodes are off-putting but it really morphs into an excellent show after that. Kind of like how Spartacus had a rocky start. The Bear McCreary soundtrack is excellent although I don’t think they released more than one season OST.

Star Trek Voyager - I don’t hate the show, and occasionally feel like trying to get back into it because I like the “idea” of it. The song is so good, probably my favorite Star Trek opening including the widely praised Discovery intro.

Same... I like how he wagers, but don’t like how he acts whenever the camera is focused long on him.

I’m going to probably watch the 2 episodes they make available on CBS - if those are good, I will wait for the whole series to get released before subscribing.

I know the popular thing to do is to complain about this show, but as a non die-hard fan of the show, I’m really excited for this. I’m happy with the casting, particularly Martin-Greene, Yeoh, and Isaacs. I’m not too familiar with the other cast, but am happy to see Cruz (Ricky from My So Called Life!!) as part of

I live in a relatively small city in Florida and knew a girl named Michael.

Hi - just wondering if you all have actually watched episodes from all of these shows, because there is surprisingly little discussion/buzz/early reviews of Star Trek Discovery, the show I am most hyped about. It makes me happy to see it on the Watch list but not sure if that means you’re anticipating it or enjoyed

I’m surprised and definitely grateful, that Killjoys is lasting this long. I guess I lucked out with my favorites (Killjoys, 12 Monkeys, and perhaps The Expanse) getting Syfy’s vote of confidence though I find myself shaking my head at all the Z Nation, Van Helsing, and Wynonna Earp renewals. I guess I’m happy for

If anything good can come out of this news, I’m hoping Melissa O’Neil gets cast in the final 2 seasons of Killjoys. She was the best part of Dark Matter (at least in season 1 since I stopped watching at that point).

I feel sorry for the Dark Matter fans. I could not get into the show despite following its development prior to its release, including reading Joseph Mallozzi’s blog updates. The decision to name the character after numbers was a dumb idea that they should have dumped after season 1.

Anyone else tired of these type of dark “gritty dramas”?
