There was a band in the early 2000s named Music

I would bet good money that the average, casual fan could not name a single player on the Twins.  Most answers would be “Is Torii Hunter still playing?”

Heggies is very good, as is Lotzza Motzza/Brew Pub, a MN company.  To call midwest pizza “the best pizza in America” is sheer lunacy, and I won’t stand for it as a Minnesotan.

How many beers tonight?

I live in MN and have spent a bunch of years in WI.  I will not vouch for this person’s wild statement, and I may even contact local authorities to check on this person’s mental state.

I was going to bring up Neil. A lot of his solos are simply one or two notes that don’t seem like one or two notes. Then he’ll go on to the next song and play the harmonica and piano at the same time. He’s wild and I love him.

I’m very happy for the Brewers and my Wisconsin friends.

It’s worse than being a moron though.  Many people are dumb, but they don’t think they are.  The majority of society should be like me - smart enough to get by, but also smart enough to realize that other people are a LOT smarter than me, and it’s best to listen to those people.

Solid post.  The songwriting is what really solidifies them as icons.  Phish has the respectable musicianship, but their lyrics are mostly garbage in my opinion, so I can’t get into them and see them several notches below Grateful Dead.

I liked it because I like super confident Dee episodes where her hubris eventually take her down.  The fight was amazing, Dennis’ story arc was incredible, and a reference to pre-yips Chuck Knoblauch puts it at a perfect 10.

The Gang Gets New Wheels is a fantastic episode too! Maybe a top-5 episode for me.

Hunter made the Dead and he was every bit the member as the others even if he didn’t play an instrument.  His lyrics truly are that good, and I recommend taking a look if you haven’t before.

I agree there is good food to be found in MN, but asking a local for a suggestion is a bit risky.  Half of them will tell you to go to Perkins

One thing I noticed with NoVA kids is that they have no clue about any other part of the country besides the east coast.  I told a coworker once that my parents lived in Wisconsin.  Any time I ran into her, she would ask if I had been to Wyoming lately.  I corrected her every time, and the response was always

New Glarus brewery is a real treat.  It will be beautiful this time of year.  But, I will warn you again, the “vineyard” in New Glarus is atrocious and nothing more than a tourist trap.  You’d be better off picking up a bottle of Boone’s Farm and finding a local park.

Blind Melon is a good choice for most underrated. They are considered a one-hit wonder, so people know of them, but their other songs get zero attention. It’s a shame because Soup is a fuckin awesome album start to finish.

Don’t take them to a Wisconsin vineyard.  Jesus Christ.

Is his voice and cadence really like that?  It almost sounded as if the audio was altered.  How can anyone listen to this dunce for more than a few minutes?

Does he really consider himself the king of podcasting?
