This is completely anecdotal and probably just a weird coincidence, but if I had to make a Top 5 Most Excruciatingly Annoying and Punchable People I’ve met during my years of backpacking around the world, all five were Young White Australian Males.

To be honest, his percentage of support in the country is MUCH lower. About a third of the population identify as Republican. And he’s polling about 36% with these people. Which mean around 10% of the population.
