Currently it’s only limited to the games that are approved by publishers/developers, or in other words, if they don’t plan on HD-ing it, or reselling it then yes. The idea is too make it 100% backwards compatible, but like I stated if it isn’t, then it isn’t Microsoft’s fault.

Whoa, whoa, whoa dude, Microsoft shouldn’t be part of this list, I’m 100% sure I can pop in a 360 disc and run that game on my Xbox One.

Well this is creepy, I was just showing this video off to a fellow friend, whose been interested in making a game using Unreal.
Now I’m starting to wonder if Kotaku is stalking me…

I suspect this to be true as well, if I remember correctly, Halo Reach’s engine was made to screen blur on the 360 when it was too much to process. This is probably why Halo Reach shouldn’t have been made backwards compatible, but instead should have been remade in the Master Chief Collection, like ODST was. I don’t

I’d also like to point out, when Xbox Live was around in the beginning, its price was not reflected to the Games with Gold since they didn’t exist at the time.

“yes but if you purchase a game physically or legally the retailer(in this case Microsoft/Sony) legally can’t take that game from you. “

Not to mention you’re Gold isn’t a price you pay for the games, the Gold just grants you access to the games. All in all the Gold pays for server maintenance, security, (Used to be apps lol), multiplayer, multiplayer servers, multiplayer access, OneDrive storage and access, ect, ect.

You don’t own any of the games you purchase with money, there just leased to you or licensed to you. This goes for Digital, physical and all other forms or types of media. So while yes it does feel like tossing money down a bottomless well in reality its a better deal or practice then buying an item that one day could

You can get you’re Xbox One titles back once you’ve lost Gold though, by just upping or renewing you’re Gold, so while lost, the license (To use) returns upon Gold being redeemed.

Right, I miss the thrill of an fistycuffs all the while trying to avoid the person next to you while they throw out elbows. It’s like a mini game every time lol.

That’s the same thing I think about the recent loss of split screen

It only implies that they’re coming, I believe their showing the top ones coming in the future, but like Microsoft said, dropping new titles for compatibility is going to be random, they have to get the yes before they can even place up an image place holder, so while they’re not here now, they will be within the

Yes plus Castle Strom lol, but I their proably only holding off so they dont sound repetitive

They didn’t say for sure those where coming lol, they are coming but I’d imagine end of December till middle of January.

Yeah I doubt theres much emulation going on, they do seem to be the same games, but texture wise they wouldn’t look as sharp when upped. The PS2 while it could render 1080i wasn’t doing that for most third party games.

Yeah I agree, which is why I’m on the side of being hopeful for future Xbox One games. I don’t think it’s a hardware issue as much as it’s poor porting or poor optimizations, just in the sake of time.
Halo 4 looks great, but I do remembering being super blown away by gears of war and Halo 3 when they came out. I still

Now playing

This issue happened to me a while ago, but I wasn’t in diamond city. In fact I was able to shift through walls, and through the ground. All meanwhile able to hit and interact with objects, including enemies (Who also gain the ability to walk through walls). Oddly enough when this happened Nick sat on the ground and

I got that, and my point was, you where comparing a port of The Godfather vs an actually HD port or Game on the PS3, at the time The Godfather came out all they had to add was extra missions, they really didnt up anything, where is with Final Fantasy 10, it got rebuilt from the ground up, its not emulation. Though

Hahaha, yeah Kotaku (and the internet as a whole) are a little rougher around the edges then most places. People want the world to get along, meanwhile the internet (*the fake world*) can’t even figure out how to converse with each other lol. Though honestly I’m just tired of the amount of Trolls and people whom get

That’s because The Godfather game was a PS2/ Xbox Original game, the picture you’re showing is from a up port from around the launch of the PS3.
