Wait, according to this article’s logic, the data above says that 20% of women have no idea where a guy’s balls are. Obviously they just don’t know that is what “testes” means. All this test says is “Do you know this word, and will you admit it?”.

Totally agree on Wicked in particular. I was a huge fan of the book. I am also a fan of the musical, because it is fun on its own. But part of me does wish someone would do an actual faithful adaption of the book. Maybe as something like an HBO limited series.

I have never SEEN any of these, but I have HEARD most of them playing in the back of the car on long road trips, so I know the characters and plots enough to play these in my head.

It comes down to two things: First the buzz on the film has been quite good. Second, they were way into it when things started going south with Miller. I am sure whether he continues is dependent on how this film actually does, and what he does off camera going forward.

This is because they do not actually care who they toss out there, they just know they want to have a black character up there so they can say they do. So they keep reusing their best known guy as an afterthought. Marvel is not much better, but at least they teased characters like Rhodes and Wilson relatively early on.

So to be honest there IS a lot of variety there. There was no way they were going to convince DC to ignore Superman and Batman entirely. You are getting Swamp Thing, Supergirl, and The Authority, and a bunch of stuff on streaming. Nice to finally get Robin back, maybe with a much better take than in the past. I only

Stopping for a moment and wondering if Fox new what the code word meant robs those people of their chance to be outraged over something. That is the only thing they look forward to.

Ehh.... Not a fan at all of The Lorax movie. Geisel had a great, impactful environmental story about protecting the trees, and the earth in general, and in order to make this into a feature length film they had to add this whole longer plot about some guy wanting to own the air, character backstories, a love interest

You and me both. Here in California it seems like ice tea is pretty common fortunately, even in all the fast food chains. That said, I hate having to call it “unsweetened tea” to make sure it is not sweetened. Just awkward to say. Just give me some plain tea.

They are not saying the are “expecting evidence”. They are sarcastically referencing the author and commenters potentially taking a side without any evidence.

Yeah, you can tell it is from California (as am I) where in most places Winter and Summer are pretty similar (no, I have never seen one in the mountains where it snows).

You said it Scooby!

Just bring back my damn Enchorito! It won that vote easily. Why just bring it back for a couple of weeks?! Put. It. On. The. Permanent. Menu.

Yes, but as a result, I don’t personally think it deserves “one of the best sequels of the last 10 years”. But I agree with AlienJesus, the reset WAS pretty cool. Come to think of it, not sure I think the Incredibles 2 belongs on a “best of last 10 years” list either. Of course, it is all subjective.

So the biggest one I disagree with here is Glass Onion. Sure, I enjoyed it, but I personally feel like the first film was better.

I like Darkhorizons.com, for AVClub/IO9 style content. But it is sparse in coverage compared to here.

If anything, the fact that it didn’t turn *everything* into a joke the way Ragnarok did will probably make L&T more enjoyable on repeat viewing

Personally I really liked most of Dr. Strange. I do agree the whole “lets introduce all these long awaited characters to easily kill them off” was a waste however. But at $950 million I agree it does not belong on this list, as the author does call out “financially”.

Yeah, I get the “not everyone likes all jokes” thing. But trying to get a laugh off of Whitney Houston OD’ing is likely to go over very well in general.
