With stock options Tesla employees make more than UAW employees on average. This isn’t about fighting for the little guy. It’s about keeping the river of money flowing from mandatory UAW dues held out of paychecks flowing directly into the pockets of the democrat party, as they have for decades.
And definitely not TRUMP.
This is all hilarious. Any outsider can see the clearest international front-runner in BEV’s for the last 10 years has been Tesla. Like them or hate them, they are the most important car company in the world, and they make vehicles in the US with high wages and high quality. I don’t have any stake in them or otherwise…
So happy Tesla is non union. I worked as a chemist in a unionized DuPont fibers plant out of college. Some of the workers, just a few, were the laziest people I’d ever met. But..You couldn’t fire them. That plant doesn’t exist anymore.
Doctors aren’t unionized, and if we become union, we’re convinced patient care will…
And I’d prefer to have a vehicle that doesn’t burst into flames.
Pretty sure the WH could have gotten in touch if they had wanted to
I’m surprised the Secret Service let Biden anywhere near a Chrysler product.
Considering that a bunch of the major normally anti Tesla news outlets are writing articles laying out how Tesla is the most American Made car in the world, and Stellantis isn’t even an American company, I think this snub is turning into good PR for Tesla, both for the stock market, and for potential customers, thanks…
Supporting unions is a good thing, but in politics one needs to compartmentalize. None of the high tech companies are unionized neither. Does that mean Biden can never talk to any of those companies now?
1. Regen puts heat back into the batteries. Which is one of the Achilles heal of EV’s
All times were approximate.
1. They ran with other traffic in testing which is standard. They did reserve the track when they ran in the official timing sessions.
Because Tesla drivers are like Prius drivers from the early 2000's so people hate them and can’t separate the consumer from the product. On the flipside nobody on this website can comprehend anyone being an auto enthusiast but not being obsessed with worn out 90's commuter cars.
I honestly still don’t understand the rage against Tesla.
You’re not mentioning that the 80% you charged to was your own decision. The car tells you what it needs to charge to in order to get to the destination. Maybe in V10 it will allow us to set an arrival %.
They used the same driver for both cars. Get a better driver and you’ll get better times for both cars, but are unlikely to change the ranking.
I mean, you can only charge that Porsche at full speed at what... 3 locations? Tesla v3 charger are just as fast as well.
The Model 3 has routinely beat the BMW M3 at head to head track matchups for auto magazines. The delta grows the more tight and technical the track is.
The big issue is “how long it takes to refill”...My MR2 can hardly manage 210 miles on a tank, but I don’t care if I can fill up anywhere in a few minutes.
