The Gelding

I saved the email and contacted  VW corporate customer care.

Ugh, I sold a way nicer 96 Tahoe 10 years ago for $3500. And in 96 they got a significant power increase in form of the vortec engine.

you win this round...

My thoughts, You were right, but it could have led to an awkward conversation has you been caught in the act. Were it my car, I would have appreciated the gesture, at least after I asked angrily “Can I help you?” And we probably would have ended up talking cars for another hour or so.

I was recently shopping repaired Dieselgate VW’s and reached out to a VW shop in virginia. They eventually sent a price quote, but it included a $1295 CPO certification fee, $800 for docs, and “add $1500 if you are paying cash or using your own financing”

Note that this total includes EVERYTHING, parts, fees, beer, pizza, beer, gas, beer, gas, car, beer, hotels, beer, safety gear, tires, etc that went into

Drop Top and Chill

Well, well, well...

I got a Fiat Tipo (gas engine) 6 speed in Germany once. Definitely the worst rental I’ve had here. It was like they took a Golf, and said “How do we make this 35% worse in every measurable aspect?”

in the US, definitely a versa.

Give us this day, our daily ‘vette

Live life at 45mph.   The beer would be expired by the time they got anywhere.
