Its ugly, its expensive,Its not that fast by modern standards, its interior build quality would make a youg-factory worker wince.

Hemi’s are pushrod

The guy who wants that car, but doesn’t want to spend $1k/month on repairs once the warranty is out.

Well played, sir.

just because its expensive doesn’t make it stylish or functional.

What is the worse crack-pipe loss ever? Because this will give it a run for is money.

I’m more of a quantum mechanics man.

using “S” as a stand in for generic speed because I know some other engineer will call me out for non-standard variables/nomenclature.

dS/dt is the more fun part anyway. Vmax (observed)is what gets written on the tickets though.

only an engineer would be bothered by this. And I agree completely

Awesome car. Reasonable price, but only for a VW nut-job enthusiast.

Well, the ad doesn’t say that it has 1 ton springs. On this era truck it could literally be anything from 2wd 1/2ton light duty springs to 5/4ton military CUCV springs. From what I understand, they are all interchangeable, same length, width, and centering pin location.

the exhaust has a very short residence time in the cat, so it cant really pick up that much heat. But the cat itself will be hot.

With all due respect, you are wrong about heating of a catalyst and the pressure drop across a catalytic converter.
For the cat to create enough restriction to cause that much heating (the mechanism of which would have to be frictional or something, because causing pressure drop of a gas across an operation will reduce

Wow, that works well. You are my hero.

Well, my wife actually drives our outback, so you’re not completely wrong. But she said that she refused to drive a 4 cylinder, wanted something that handled as well as her scion tc, and no vans or SUVs. We needed something with a little more space to move us+kid+dog. So that pretty much brought it down to a 328i

so a toyota previa all-trac? Then you can add mid-engined and supercharged to your list.
