It took me a over a year to find a CPO outback XT or 3.0R (back in 2012). Ended up with an 08 L.L. Bean 3.0r. Great car. My neighbor has an 08 2.5xt, also fully loaded. (And we don’t even live in Colorado or Vermont.)
Lots of loaded 2.5's, but the more powerful engines were hard to come by. So i will say that Tom is

exactly, less than 10% of the vehicle cost. I wonder if they could work out a deal where they cost of the cage is financed in with the car like dealerships sometimes do for lifted trucks or modded cars.

Not that any sane bank would finance that without some kind ridiculous interest rate and impossible insurance

It might still end up being a value proposition for a car that fast. I’ve never built a drag car like that, but I would bet that there are plenty of $100k+ investments in cars running the quarter in that class.

Much in the same way that arguably, you couldn’t build an desert racer from a base F150 as good as a Raptor

A well built cage for a car this heavy and fast will run $3k on the low end Personally, I would not go with the cheapest cage I could find, but we’re trying to be economical here. Figure another grand for a seat and harness, and another $1500 for firesuit/helmet/hans, and another $1500 for whatever other various

That was my point, the track specials are never cheaper.

yeah, like the porsche 911r.

well, they are covering ducts.

+1

So does he want to sell those wheels?

NP because you could probably walk away with it for Sub $1500.

Not to mention that a well sorted Roller will give literally hours of trouble free driving.

For real tho...

Its borderline for me, super nice car, but seems on the premium end of the pricing spectrum. Voted NP because there is no inspection in NJ for car 1995 or older which makes life easier for a car of this vintage.

I think the real hero here is Tavarish, who has a 450hp ford raptor but has to follow a jeep doing 38mph without just nudging it into a ditch and driving off like he was never there.

Where we’re going we don’t need roads rear suspension.

Well, I’m 6'1" and I drive a 1 series. Our family car (2 kids plus a 75lb dog) is an outback wagon. I’ve also had all 4 of us in the 128i just to say I did.
So, my cars are definitely not too big.

(conveniently ignores 4-door tundra in driveway because its not my daily and doesn’t get drive that much)

not for $17k it wont. But yes, the DB is more iconic for the modern Bond movies.

I owned up to it in another comment.

Its still a pretty cool car. I might even be willing to be George Clooney Batman for it.

Wow, I screwed that up, Corrected. Thanks!
