I suppose the tell-all books coming out of this massive fiasco will be quite the rage.

there’s too many variables, man. we’ll never know things like, for example, how much of the funding was contingent on them funding ‘a bill murray movie’. hard to get MORE money from an investor like that to finish a movie that no longer has bill murray.
In a moral sense it’s not be the best option, but practically speaking...how hard would it be to finish the film without the production member who filed the complaint against Murray?
She’s also incredibly connected to international spies—Mike Meyers and Michael Shannon, particularly—which no one questions.
“Maybe it’s time for Hollywood to leave the fat suit behind and allow actors to try acting.”
Aww, I’d rather this be an Elementary Spin-off(where Holmes isn’t dead but in London for a long case or something) and it’s Lucy Liu’s Watson, back in the medical field but unable to stop solving cases.
So the story’s about an actress who wasn’t wearing a fatsuit being accused of wearing one; and your article on it includes five paragraphs of pontificating on fatsuits?
“I don’t understand why people find sex on screen so weird.”
That’s not racism, it’s just being 1. a self centered ass and 2. having poor attention to detail.
It’s likely, and sadly, just for attention.
which is why I ended up writing that tweet and I didn’t think that anybody was going to read
“I just feel like it’s going to bring back too many memories of working on it. I don’t want to have these PTSD types of situations,” Alsup says. “The trailer itself gave me PTSD, which is why I ended up writing that tweet and I didn’t think that anybody was going to read.”
Per Alsup, that PTSD stems from her “exhausting” experience on a set with no mental health coordinators, made worse by being one of only two Black crew members working the series. “I was always being called someone else’s name, the only other Black girl who looked nothing like me, and I learned the names for 300…
So wait a minute here... Her allegation of racist abuse on set amounts to, “Somebody called me by the wrong name”, and it gave her PTSD? And I’m sorry but complaining about how gross it is to make a movie about Dahmer after you chose to work on a movie about Dahmer is disingenuous at best. Oh well, she got her 15…
It’s Apples (heh) and oranges. Google was paying an arm and a leg to run expensive video-game hardware in the cloud and then stream the video of it in HD to customers. Apple is playing the role of publisher; they pay developers to make games that run on customer hardware with no additional overhead for Apple. Which…
Google, killing off something after trying to get it to take off for only a few years? I’M SHOCKED!
The European market is the perfect example of why getting rid of the SIM tray in the U.S. is worse than removing the headphone jack. Whoever pushed this decision through at Apple must have no idea how international travel works. They’ve actually made it more difficult if you go to places that don’t support eSIM…
I fail to see how she is remotely associating or even trying to associate Epstein with Snyder. Her tweet is saying how Epstein was publicly at numerous Hollywood events, and uses the BvS launch as but one example. The same tweet also says Epstein was at the gotham awards. The fact that Snyder fans are seeing that…
An additional $73 million should make a film better. Had Joss been give another $73 million and unlimited time the theatrical version would have been better too, but probably wouldn’t have done an extended slow motion Flash sequence.
I’m not sure why anyone would be surprised...It stank of Gamergateness from the beginning.
