I honestly don’t buy into the Stranger-is-Gandalf theory that most people seem to be taking as dogma at this point, and still strongly believe that he’s mostly likely one of the Blue Wizards.

Halbrand’s reveal as Sauron didn’t work for me for one reason: where we first find him. He was adrift on flotsam in the middle of the ocean.

What struck me is that their plan was to steal all of the Imperial stash of credits, and in the end they barely made a dent just because there was too much money to steal. It’s an enormous victory for the Rebellion because it’s a huge sum of cash that will fund Rebel cells across the galaxy. To the Empire it amounts to

I mean, I like both this and Filoni’s work so...shrug?

I believe this season is 12 episodes, so we are halfway there with six more to go and then an additional 12 episodes in season 2. Truly a bounty of riches!

I clicked on the link expecting a slideshow and did not get one.  Made my morning a whole lot better!

Nothing lowers property values more than building a video instead of a bullet list!

Ian Anderson must be very sad that he is no longer the person everybody thinks first of, as a popular music fl(a)utist.  Still, at least he still has his Heavy Metal Grammy.

Some Like It Hot or the Misfits would easily be my top pick.

I don’t think I want to piss while lying flat, face down, anyway.

The lid & the seat should always be down. When a guy needs to stand there to piss, he should lift the seat and the lid & then lower them both when he’s finished.

Dude here, I sit down in the bathroom regardless of what the situation is.  That’s quality reading time right there.

Two things that changed my life: a.) Sitting down to urinate b.) installing bidets on my home toilets. Game changers.

While “housing supply, rising rents, and stagnant wages” may be responsible for homelessness, leaving substance abuse, it’s pretty weird to leave out substance-abuse, addiction and lack of access to mental health care.

Apparently the chicken/baby thing was based off of a real story of a baby being killed to avoid detection during the war.

My favorite era was when BJ, Charles, & Radar were on. Aside from Frank being a one note character, he, Henry, and Trapper were constantly cheating on their wives. I can understand why someone might seek affection in the midst of war, but the adultery is treated a little too casually for my taste.  Henry comes across

It’s not necessarily a Radar episode, but the one where he procures the horse for Col. Potter ... it’s just wonderful. Potter’s reaction is so touching and warm.

Congratulations?

Here’s a mover and a groover and it ain’t by Herbert Hoover

No love for Foundation? It’s not perfect, far from it, but proper unabashed Space Opera is a rare pearl and the trio of Emperors the show’s most fascinating, magnetic aspect. It also looks absolutely beautiful, really owning the sense of a galaxy far in the future, both otherworldly yet familiar through its production
