I do not know you, but I do know “failed spectacularly on every level” is hardly an objective statement. Objective opinions generally don’t skew that hyperbolic. And it’s hard to see where any of the Star Wars movies, even Rise Of Skywalker which I very much disliked, are actual cinematic failures. To fail

I enjoyed this episode, it felt like a classic Samurai Jack helps teach a tribe to defend themselves yarn.

I have a feeling the split timeline is leading to something. And it really dodges the “White Savior” trope. One, because Morrison isn’t white. Two, and this is REALLY important, there’s no bit where he magically becomes better than the natives at their own thing.
That’s THE key aspect of the trope you’re talking

Fans who got upset when Star Wars tried something different with The Last Jedi, and then Disney ignored the critical and commercial success of the movie and catered to their online tantrums, willed it into existence. Star Wars will be safe fan service from now on. No more, no less.

so far I’m not even bothered by the fact that they just did essentially introduced Dancing with the Wolves to Star Wars.

Yeah just a little pinch will get you there!

I don’t think there are any ‘social costs’ of forcing people to wear masks. My friends kids are more fine with the masks than a lot of adults I know.

I’m curious how much of your life is impacted by wearing a mask. You can “move on” pretty easily while wearing an N95. Just actually wear it.

You seem to have some interesting opinions but lack the ability to explain them at all. Care to explain how helping ‘about 5%’ is a bad thing and then go on to explain how wearing one is controlling the populace?

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe there’s anything magic about Omicron that has changed how cloth masks work or don’t work. Cloth masks were never intended to protect the wearer; they were intended to prevent someone who might be infectious but pre-symptomatic from infecting others, by reducing the amount and

“the “mandate” portion is starting to rub me the wrong way.”

You are aware that there are multiple religions that prohibit shaving, yes? There are also methods to masking up securely with your beard intact (e.g. Singh Thatta Technique).

Look up the Singh Thatta Technique. It involves using a thin rubber exercise band, which you wrap around your chin and tie above your head (you also want to have a head covering like a surgical cap, so the band doesn’t pull your hair when you tie it). This allows the N95 to have a snug, airtight fit without

Can we just please be done with mask mandates?

Faulty logic since the vaccinated can (and sometimes do) also still catch COVID, and on rare occasion die from it. So your whiney little “im not wearing a mask forever” is literally you saying “fuck you if you die, I dont like the EXTREMELY FUCKING MINOR inconvenience of wearing a mask.”

Instead of a virus, picture them as terrorists looking for places to hide. Would you stop locking your doors if terrorists were hiding in homes and cars and killing 1000 people a day? Would you object to a no-unlocked-doors mandate?

I use cloth masks made specifically for us bearded folk that have inserts for surgical masks. Been working pretty well so far and I’ve been around infected people.

how about double mask, with disposable under the cloth mask? it says it’s better but more towards the N95 or just a little better than only cloth?

Have you ever seen a pair of long underwear? They usually don’t have cargo pockets. He was wearing a jumpsuit.

The Mandalorian was aggressively mediocre
