there’s reverse Triangle, too, and that looks to be a reverse Lord of the Fishes to me. i could be wrong.

that was my initial reaction too, but then i realized that even though the books are hard on religion as an institution, they aren’t really necessarily against having faith itself. in fact, everyone -- from the Magisterium to Lyra -- has total faith in the alethiometer, despite there not really being any information

usually there are “reverse” versions of a posture, though, so she could be fine.

SOLIDARITY, freak brutha!

i would be interested in reading a follow-up article on how to support someone who’s grieving during the holidays.

i was wondering the same thing. i always wash my cutting boards after using them, and combined with oiling them, i’ve never had any trouble with them picking up any noticeable odors. do people habitually not wash or oil them, and i’m just a fastidious freak, or something?

“And now he’s got a Rorshach mask.” <— this is a damn good catch!

well, at least the boys from Rush get along famously, so there’s one group of amazing musicians who also get along as a band.

YES! i somehow have been mispronouncing them, too.

i love Welcome to Nightvale. the longer you listen, the more odd things you can share with those who also listen, like jokes about dog parks, smiling gods, and shadowy librarians.

yes, that would be good. i think i’ve only seen it via rentals or streaming.

clicked hoping Planes, Trains, & Automobiles was on the list. what a great movie that is.

i am here for it, haha

oh yes, that’s right -- Dorothy, too. we have so MANY friends, lol

i’ve had ear candling done. even though i was skeptical that it was actually sucking wax out of my ear, i will say that the sound in your ear that the candle makes while you are lying there on the table is QUITE relaxing. so, at least there’s that benefit.

or “Save Me Dammit” lol

or the old gay community joke about being a “friend of Mary (or Judy).”

i read the books so long ago, it’s been fun to watch the show and try to remember who’s who and where it all goes. i’m glad i don’t recall the books to a degree that i’m disappointed with this — i’m finding it quite well-done and fun, although i was QUITE surprised that they revealed that Asriel was Lyra’s father so

and Eva Green!
