Slightly off-topic: IS anybody other than me finding it a little creepy that his daughter Ivanka, seems to be preparing to fulfill the FLOTUS role? It seems that Melania has little or no interest in being FLOTUS. In fact, her attitude this entire time has been more along the lines of “I did not sign up for this.”

But he ALWAYS says outrageous, bald faced, ‘insult-your-intelligence’ lies. I don’t understand why the whole country hasn’t busted it’s collective spleen laughing at that clown.

John McCain, who didn’t think personal insults or an all-out attack on a Gold Star family were reasons not to support Trump, pulled his endorsement. Something is definitely different here.

I think we all know why.

Can someone please explain to me why many states are totally cool with Stand Your Ground laws/using deadly force to “prevent death or great bodily harm” but this little girl faces life in prison for shooting someone who repeatedly threatened to kill his entire family with that very gun?

Ok, I am admittedly really really really bad at this, but I need a ruling. Her follow-up (the full one, not what’s written above) is shade, no?

I regret saying ‘half’—that was wrong,” Clinton said.

It’s hard to get the legal system to treat rape like rape when the victim willingly went on a date or even just went to the same party as her rapist. When it comes to withdrawing consent after initially giving it, police officers (and prosecutors, and judges and juries, though the chances of such a case getting far

Soooo what are you saying exactly?

You are much kinder than I am.

Oh, good. I’m so glad she got to lose right before she died.

She got pushed out of her leadership post at the Eagle Forum because she supported Trump. Her own daughter did most of the pushing.

Dad’s friend slaps Brock on the back. “Youthful indiscretion, young man. A shame that girl targeted you.”

Apparently, he’ll be on the sex offender registry for life, there’s no way that won’t feel shameful at some point even if it doesn’t yet.

I might be wrong but I get the feeling based on family and friend interviews that Brock has spent his life admiring good ol’ boys like his dad and his dad’s friends. I wouldn’t be shocked if one of those friends is making sure there is a nice spot for Brock at his company if/when he finishes school.

Yeah. Wish they’d leave the guns at home, but... *shrug*.

Well, I can’t approve of this sort of thing.

I think it’s wonderfully optimistic that you think he’ll feel shame over this.

It basically was my nightmare scenario. The only way that movie works is if you don’t identify with Heigl at all, otherwise it’s watching a woman sacrifice her life because she had a one night stand. Not exactly comedy material is what I’m saying.
