Cool. Another asshole.  I’ll make sure to “randomly and accidentally” elbow the back of your seat while attempting not to get blood clots in my legs.

6'1 = not that tall.  Lots of people taller than you are impacted by this.

“I’m having a hard time believing this is really a problem”

I’m 6'5 and the person reclining the seat in front of me crushes my kneecaps.

So you’re an asshole.  Cool.

“Those sweeteners end up flowing into our rivers and ocean, where they harm aquatic ecosystems”

Sorry to hear of his passing; talented guy.

I’ve been underwhelmed with this show so far, but one quick comment:

I realize that this article is mostly TIC, but:

PETA is garbage, but even if they weren’t, I’m not sure I’m following their logic here.

The effects of a pan galactic gargle blaster are similar “having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick.”

I wondered about this too, but then recently I dined at a (relatively) high end restaurant for my birthday and they seated us in a semi-private (there were two other tables in there, which were empty at the time), the menus had “happy birthday” printed on them, and there was a free dessert at the end.  Very nice

Very interesting! Can’t say I ever wondered, but now I want to try swan. One small nit to pick: “Think of swans like a lobsters, truffles, or Kobe beef, a delicious indulgence that eventually became the domain of the rich and powerful.”

So you believe that everyone who has ever plead guilty to a crime in order to get a deal from the prosecutor is guilty? And if not, do you then consider that person to be a liar? If the answer to either question is yes, then I can’t discuss this rationally with you because you have no idea how the court system works.

If by “slick the system” you mean “try to overcome tremendous jury pool bias resulting from OAG malfeasance” then yes. That’s exactly what they did.

The record does say what it says. That does not mean they should have gone to jail (again, they went to jail for a single misdemeanor, which is absurd. Again, a biased judicial system. Would they, both first time offenders, gone to jail for a single criminal trespass conviction? Laughable).

“They are guilty.”

First of all, that’s not the line. The line is “Say, what’s in this drink?” Not “did you drug me?” as you imply.

We’ve been down this road before. You seem to think that “pleading guilty” and “being guilty” are the same thing. They are not.
