Much respect for the players who decided not to go, but I would have been more impressed if they had a team meeting and decided to act as a team (one way or another).
While I think this is good in principle, time limitations for lawsuits exist for a reason. Key witnesses die. Memories fade. Any physical evidence or alibis can get lost to time. I think the potential to get it wrong decades after the fact is going to be a real problem here.
It also depends greatly on how your employees get to work. If they are outside for less than 10 minutes at a time, it’s not unsafe for them to come to work even in those temperatures. If they have to walk 20 minutes to the bus stop, then another 20 minutes from the bus stop the the restaurant, that might not be safe…
Not to take anything away from your mom, but isn’t this pretty obvious? I’ve been shopping this way all my adult life and no one had to teach it to me. Of course, this is one reason why I dislike shopping anywhere but “my” grocery store. Slightly different layouts or odd organizational decisions (one store near me has…
I think the most likely explanations for the anecdotal evidence that mixing types of alcohol gives you are worse hangover are two fold:
This week I found myself pausing the DVR a lot to dwell on some of the visual clues (the D&D character sheet, some of the drawings, the communion photos, the scrap of paper with notes on them). Wasn’t the Walgreens in question in Oklahoma (just across the AR border)? Still a valid point about if they had a presence there, though.
Interesting article. Thanks! I wonder how much brand loyalty is decreasing across food/drink brands in general. For example, when grocery shopping, I will general choose between major brands (Coke vs Pepsi, Gatorade vs Powerade, Skippy vs Jif, Ruffles vs Lays) based purely on which is on sale. Yes, there are…

5 cups to 1 tiny little cup. Penguins own.
He tried to make a legal hit on two Caps players. Why that justified Wilson crossing the entire ice surface to drop the gloves I have no idea. It only makes sense if you are a goon like Tom Wilson. Eff that guy.
Who drinks “vodka/cola”?? Gross.
“I don’t even have two forms of ID”
Very well stated. The author seems to think that all intense/close relationships have to be sexual, regardless of gender/sexual preference. I think that’s false.
“I have gay voice, which might have made her extra concerned about my prospects in the afterlife”
Doesn’t this also ignore that fries are, by definition, really bad for you? And alcohol (which HopCat is based around) is also bad for you. So people are offended that a bar (bad for you) serves fries (bad for you) that are named after something else that is really bad for you? Really?
There are three potential flaws with tipping big at the beginning:
