I have the same thing. At restaurants when I tip with cash I write “CASH” on the tip line when I pay with a card because I don’t want to appear like an asshole. And I’d be neurotic enough to write a line somewhere in the order promising I’d tip cash...

Mojitos are a very seasonal thing for me. In the dank humid oppressive Baltimore summer heat a mojito is a necessity. In the winter, not so much.

That name is taken? Great, now what name will I use when I become a porn star?

That’s weird, I’m Baltimore born and raised and I’ve always thought of University of Maryland as being College Park and in my experience UMBCers will say UMBC either because they are proud (Chess Team!) or fake-embarrassed/secretly proud (yoUr Mom Blows Cows is something I’ve heard it referred to as more then once).

I get why food/drink prices would rise but I don’t get why that wouldn’t even out for a good customer who tips. The only people who would really be paying more would be non-tippers. How does this system work in non-tipping countries. I’ve been to restaurants in both and the food prices don’t seem staggeringly

I don’t think that’s her best work by a long shot. I’d give her another few tries. But not everyone likes everything. I happen to think she is really quick and funny. Maybe try her comedians in cars? That might be a better way to get acclimated to her.

If you’re still looking the Batman version of Love Letter is going up at 11:00 EST.

I picked one up too. I totally wasn’t planning on getting one (yet), but I didn’t see how I could pass that deal up.

If anyone hasn’t seen this movie, go watch it now. Like right now!

How well do these online order websites work? I've tried them twice and had to wait over an hour for my food and even then had to call. The wait time wss not normal. I haven't tried them since figuring calling is easier (if it's not from a company that has a well known independent system, like when I had to order

I liked the books but I worry about the TV show for two reasons:

No, it’s totally viewable. You wanted to say five squares right?

The helpful American stereotype? The American who doesn’t label every little thing “American” stereotype? I mean, he was being helpful, it didn’t apply to you, and you cried about it. I just don’t see how this reflects badly on him. But by all means. Oh, also, this post is in English. I don’t know if that offends you

Or a gross overreaction and overgeneralization that doesn’t really make any sense. Either or.

You only have a few minutes to edit your post before it get’s locked in. That time period is way less than the difference between the original post and your comment on it. So it was not possible for him to see the feedback and edit his post.

There are two schools of thought. The originalism school and the living document school. If you really thought I didn’t know that just highlighting one would be incredibly dishonest. I happen to be of the living document school. David Boise said “The very purpose of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution is to

I totally believe this is a time that Gawker/Jezebel is attempting to stir up outrage (look someone made a mistake that they then corrected but they made it so they are horrible) and ignore their own hypocracy (I made a mistake in my article but I fixed it so I am above criticism, thanks!) but I don’t think the age

Why is it extremely worrying? Isn’t that what the courts are for? To uphold minority rights? I don’t know, I’m not bothered by the Supreme Court doing this anymore than I was for them issuing Brown v. Board of Ed. It doesn’t strike me as a constitutional mess at all. It strikes me as being inconvenient for the

You’re right that he wasn’t on the forefront of the gay marriage fight. But to say that he had nothing to do with it is, demonstrably, false. He could have come around earlier, but he has done things to help gay rights (see Don’t ask don’t tell among many other things). Gas prices are the result of many things, some

No, but you may have missed him verbally supporting gay marriage giving more legitimacy to the movement, appointing 40% of the justices who voted for it, and filing a friend of the court brief in favor of it. You may have also missed the parts of the constitution where they divide up powers showing that he can’t do
