Interesting topic. I had a 2002 A6 for about four years. I was a very comfortable car. However, I now have a 18' Stinger GT2. I prefer it in every metric. I have a co-worker with a Model 3. I prefer the Stinger.

I rented a Volvo V60 wagon two months ago.  Does that count?

But boy are their interiors better.

Yes, but how do the oncoming drivers feel about these two headlight options?

I hope they don’t Juke around and screw this up. I want to buy a Renault Megane RS in the USA.

How many normal people pay $50k for a 1990s Toyota?

I got to the track with about 3,600 on the clock.

lol, ok for one I love Tom Selleck, but sadly you’ve got Corvette owners pretty nailed down unfortunately. I went to one Corvette club meet and that was enough to know that was not my crowd. The worst thing about owning the Corvette, by far, was the owners. To be fair, the Porsche owners group is worse. A LOT worse.

36,000 miles in 2 years. Did the same with the GTR before that. Going to do the same with my Turbo S now. No, you don’t want to know how much that costs in depreciation. Especially on the Vette.

I’m not trying to detract from the legacy or anything... but why buy a Supra Turbo for $50k+ when you could just buy/import an Aristo or a turbo 2Jz variant engine for much less?

Your dad is cooler than you.

Old school dirtbag from the 90's here.

Throw in a case of French Wine and you will be set

Honda element, or a Ford Transit. My “dirtbagger life” friends have these and they are great for hauling all their stuff from kayaks to kegs. Added bonus of removing the rear seats and filling them with crash pads to make a bed.

Ford E-Series cargo van. It was good enough for the world’s greatest dirtbag...

He could sell that Supra and be so rich.

I will forever be thankful to the SLR for giving us this wonderful gift:
