I’m with you. New GTI, used Miata for those perfect fall or what the hell days. I’ve been in manuals since 1969 - but - I tried the DSG and I could see it. Traffic here in Oahu is hell most times of the day.

Calling the DSG an “autotragic” is just stupid. It’s not the 4-speed slushbox out of an old Malibu, it’s one of the best transmissions available. I have a 2016 with the DSG (even though I generally prefer manuals) and it suits the car perfectly. Always picks the right gear and shifts are instantaneous.

I’m gonna have to go GTI on this. As much as I like the Miata(and I’ll probably get burned at the stake since this is Jalopnik), I’m more inclined towards having some practicality than I am a pure fun machine. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older or something. Oh well.

They are all in the evidence room.

And they're so light they won't sink into the snow!

I’m going to vote for a stable RHD car that’s economical and won’t hog too much space.

Hardcore Corvette fans are going to insist that if it isn’t a FR naturally aspirated V8, it’s not a true Corvette (which is why they really should call it the “Zora” instead). I say make it the Ferrari/Porsche killer Arkus-Duntov always wanted the Corvette to be, and then price it accordingly.

As good as a 170k Corvette is the average person will just assume it's just another Corvette. If they triple the base price then they should change the name.

Life’s been good to  you, so far.

I’d buy it and find out, but I lost my license so now I don’t drive

Am I the first to ask, does it do 185?"

I don’t see Mustang in the list. Is that a result of them all being written off for too much damage?

Awww man, you gotta warn a brother before you post porn like that. I’m at work!

I’m a Datsun fan. We don’t have a club here in the Horse Capitol of the World.

The closest thing to a car club that I’ve ever been a part of, is the gang I run with at Stateline Rallycross. They’re a fabulous bunch of maniacs who show up to and put on rallycross events.  Everybody there is friendly and willing to help when needed. I’ve been hammering my $140 RallyMetro for two years now, and you

I sit in my basement and talk to myself about used cars I can’t afford.

My club meets once or twice a week depending on what’s happening that week/weekend. First order of business is always opening up my garage so that proper ventilation can be achieved. Next is tinkering with my old car until I finish what I set out to do or until I get too frustrated. Finally I set the itinerary for the

The Yaris sedan and Yaris Hatchback are two vastly different cars.

Or get a pair of Allbirds from a cool company for only $95.
