The rain comes tomorrow though.
68° at night is just about perfect in a convertible.
I got the last of my rear suspension off and put the Z on a dolly! I’ve been wanting to do this for a few months. It’ll make getting the rockers done much easier and I’ll have better welds too. More room to move around.
Well Oppo, the welding on the 280Z has started rolling. My hinge mount repair came out pretty decent.
Met a Bro while I was at breakfast.
I finished my hardtop refurb over the weekend. All new weather stripping and felt liner. Had a neighbor come and help me get it set on. I also rebuilt my heater control valve so I’ve now got HEAT!
So nice that I finished my interior restoration, changed the tranny fluid and adjusted the rear brake and e-brake cable.

I finished rebuilding my Datsun Roadster seat last night. Pretty happy with the results.
This weekend while it was a bazillion degrees out I starting the restoration of my SPL interior. Great news! I have completely solid floors!
BaT has an amazing Datsun 510 on the bid list right now. Even if you’re not a Datsun fan it’s an incredible build.
My neighbor is selling his 2013 Stage 3 Roush with only 2500 miles for below trade-in.
Well Jalops, after sitting 21 years I got my roadster started for the first time this weekend. I still have a lot of tuning to do and have to set the timing.
So... 50 Cent left?
I ran with Rusty this weekend. Fun was had.
The car sold for $300,000.
I have mixed feeling about this. A bit less driver engagement but you’re increasing performance. Just like what Porsche has done with the 911’s. If I bought a GT3 it’s becuase I’d be going to the track. Time matters. I’d want the PDK.
