Is Kiké or Quique more common? I knew a guy in college who went by Quique, I didn’t realize spelling it Kiké was a thing. It seems Kiké runs the risk of being confused for a slur, but on the other hand, Quique runs the risk of being pronounced kwee-kway by dumb gringos. CAN’T WIN EM ALL I GUESS.

I suppose, though I always assumed swingers did what they did with both people in the couple present. I guess saying “yeah you can bonk Gail next door but not that slut Tina two doors down” isn’t that different.

My first thought was “man, those Scots are really taking this independence thing seriously!!”

I’ve always assumed that there’s some couples out there that have a modified version of an open relationship where they’re allowed to sleep with certain other people that they actually know, which is why I specified celebrity.

Fair enough, I guess my real question was that, given the weaknesses in the USA’s player development pipeline, I wonder whether the same issue exists in the coaching ranks.

I seem to remember hearing that another fielder (I believe Van Slyke, the CF) motioned more than once for Bond to take a couple steps in and he refused. If true, it makes the whole thing that much more delicious for Bonds haters.

What’s the overall status of the coaching pipeline in the US? Are there up and coming MLS or college coaches who would be capable of leading the USMNT in the future?

What are the soccer rules for playing for Ireland and Northern Ireland? (I only ask because in the Olympics, athletes from Northern Ireland can choose whether to play for the UK or Republic of Ireland.)

You forgot American! I hear you’re allowed to breathe all the air you want (as long as you’re not in Basic Economy of course!)

The eye in the Ravens logo is red. Doesn’t make the Queen look any less demonic but at least there’s a reason for it.

I have had an issue with this for a while. People make a big deal about characters hewing close to their physical descriptions (most notably Ed Skrein in that whole Hellboy dustup), but people seem to very easily forget that Bond is described in the books in excruciating detail, not to mention the fact that there are

As a Wake fan, I’m sort of with you. The only consolation of the cauldron of sadness that every edition of Wake @ BC has become recently is that we usually manage to win.

Personal anecdote of Edsall being a dick: Wake Forest played UConn in the 2007 Meineke Car Care Bowl (in Charlotte), and during the fan fest/pep rally, Edsall stood up and, instead of the standard “we love our fans, thanks for making the trip” speech, he starts going on this wild rant that suggests the outcome of the

I read Duncan’s Tribune article and was planning on donating, but your link got me to finally get up and do it. Thank you for sharing that link.

I saw a guy on the greenway yesterday wearing one of those shirts that looks like the NCAA logo but says “SCAM” instead. I almost wrecked my bike to compliment him.

It’s worth noting that most of the computer rankings that were used in the BCS rank all Division I teams and the national champion of I-AA/FCS usually ranks somewhere in the 50's or 60's. App State’s end of season ranks per Sagarin were 69, 53, and 44 in 05-07 (their three I-AA National Championships), putting them

Incredibly pedantic correction: the rule in question is part of The Rules of Golf (i.e. the USGA’s rules), not PGA rules.

For some reason, I watched the first half of this game and the entire time my emotions vacillated between confused and bored. When I realized the most interesting thing about the game was how similar the two teams’ logos looked, I decided it was time to do something else.

The best reviews are always the 3- and 4-stars. The 5-star people think the product is unequivocally amazing and a great number of the 1-star reviews are either a defective product or the reviewer is an idiot (anyone who confuses the product review box for a place to complain about the speed of shipping or the return

Yeah for some reason I have a very specific memory of that one. It was a non-contact injury, and it didn’t even appear to be a very hard cut. Good thing he rehabbed hard and showed up to minicamp in excellent shape this year!
