Mondays feel so empty now that How I Met Your Mother is gone.
But isn't Margaery only Queen while Joffrey's alive? Cersei stayed Queen after Robert's death because her child wasn't of age to rule the kingdom by himself. So, assuming Tommen is King, Cersei should be Queen again. Unless you're saying Oleana gets Margaery to act as Queen Regent for Tommen?
I really hope that doesn't happen. I really want all these Manson-related theories to be nothing but over analysis and coincidence, because it seems like a horrifically dark avenue for this series to go down. I'm sure it would be interesting if they choose to do it, but I just don't want to see that on this show.
Is that supposed to be, like, really old to have children? Because I feel like that's a pretty normal age for people in cities like New York to have kids. I know more people in their forties about to have babies than those in their twenties.
Now that's how you end a season of television.
It seems like the theme of the season might be isolation, or retrospection through isolation, something like that. Should be interesting.
There were times when I wondered if it might be a fantasy sequence, but I think it would have been revealed as such by the end of the episode if that were true. It's also a little weird that Roger didn't go to the office all episode, and we also didn't get an appearance by Bert Cooper.
Also, quite sad to see no appearance of Sally, who's been my favorite character for some seasons now.
Roger and Margaret's conversation seemed so odd to me. It felt kind of otherworldly, or dream-like. I don't really know how to explain what felt off about it, but I feel like it was done on purpose.
Won't Cersei be Queen Regent again now though? Margaery and Joffrey never slept together, so she can't be pregnant, making her no longer the Queen, and Tommen the King, so wouldn't Cersei be the Queen Regent again now that Tommen is King and he's too young to rule?
I really doubt that a potential Red Dead sequel would deal with the Marstons. That story is over, and Rockstar knows it. Just the fact that Red Dead Redemption has an entirely new cast and storyline from Red Dead Revolver should tell you that Rockstar looks at the property more as a canvas for Western stories than…
I've never even heard of The Challenge.
Now that The Colbert Report is ending there's room for The Chris Gethard Show to become a four-nights-a-week show. Come on Comedy Central!
Well, it makes sense. Most of the main cast of Star Wars weren't that well known prior to the release of the films. Some have been known for things other than films, but none have really been household names.
I'm hoping they make an original story set in the Assassin's Creed universe and don't adapt any one game.
So they just hired writers with filming scheduled for this year? Either this movie's going to be horrible or we're going to see it pushed back another two or three years.
Nice. I preordered the record, but it's cool to be able to hear this now. Thanks A. V. Club!
You mean "Yara?" Ugh. Why did the show have to change her name? Did the writers really think people would confuse her with Osha?
He might be too magical for them. They've not done much with the Others or Wights. When's the last time we've seen a Wight, Season 1? The Others get one appearance a season to remind viewers they still exist.
