Loved all the callbacks to previous episodes, and the thing where the cop Rick marked himself with an X in case he was involved in some sort of "shoot him, I'm the good Rick" situation was genius. Such a simple way to get out of those kinds of doppleganger encounters, and it's the first time I've seen it used.

I'm psyched for Guardians. It's Marvel's first movie to be based on characters I don't really know all that well, so I'm going in to that one completely unbiased. It's going to be interesting to experience a Marvel movie without any idea of where things are headed.

That makes sense.

Yup, that's it. Thanks.

I didn't like the new Cap movie as much as I liked the first one, but the direction was solid, and I'm interested to see more from this team.

Right, that's what I was thinking that she was pregnant and wanted to not be. Isn't there a drink called tansy or something like that in the books that works as such?

Probably won't be a big deal not to get the Mercy scene, but I just don't want too much spoiled. Like, I doubt Coldhands will be in the show at all, but if he is then his appearance would totally spoil if he is or isn't a character that's already appeared, like Benjen Stark. Then again, Bran would have recognized

Oh, that'd be pretty cool. Like, show Thoros of Myr pulling her body out of the river and then her eyes open? Yeah, that'd be awesome.

I think they have to bring back Michelle Fairley, just to have that shock of recognition.

Oh, also another mention of Ser Duncan the Tall! Always cool.

Totally true, but they did use some of her lines from the Winter preview.

Oh, also SPOILER FOR A CHARACTER'S NAME THAT MIGHT BE MORE OF A SPOILER IF YOU'VE GONE AND LOOKED UP STUFF FROM FURTHER ON: I really hope that the final scene of the season is Lady Stoneheart's introduction.

I think this was the best season premiere Game of Thrones has had yet. It wasn't over populated as the writers seemed to have finally become secure enough to not have to check in with every major character in the series, and the new characters introduced were done in a way that it fit in with the other characters'

A Song of Ice and Fire was originally supposed to be a trilogy including the five-year jump. It wasn't going to be a trilogy, time jump, a couple of other books. The time jump was to happen during the trilogy. And George didn't replace the time jump with Feast and Dance just for extra money, he wrote several

He's also the English lead in one of the best video game series that's ever been made.

YES!

Cool. Cool cool cool.

I kind of hope Craig Ferguson stays on with The Late Late Show instead of taking over The Late Show.

Thank you, for writing so many awesome articles over the years. I'm going to miss your reviews of How I Met Your Mother almost as much as I'll miss the series itself. These reviews on the A. V. Club have been part of the ritual of watching a new HIMYM for me since Season 5, and your work on those and the Breaking

I think the Doctor's stronger bonds with his companions post-revival are actually a really great mark of character development for him. He cherishes his companions more because they are the only ones he's got. In the original series he could go back to Gallifrey (presumably) a family, friends maybe. After the Time
