I own an Xbox360 and Xbox One and extensively played Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, the Mass Effect franchise, Halo, and Forza Horizons but apparently Microsoft doesn't believe I've played enough games to rate a virtual museum.

It was about the major partner threatening to cut ties that got him to step down, not public opinion. Any fault here would be with the partner that made the snap decision to basically end his career.

I’ll be all on board for the digital future when console devs allow us to make full digital backups of digital games. Until they do that, all digital is pointless and just relegates games to non-existence eventually. 

That's something that's very difficult to measure seeing as Sony doesn't provide tools within their default OS to do this.

This thing will reportable be moddable, so you can put whatever OS you want on it.
