They are doing exactly that in a test market in Oklahoma. But due to the epidemic it has been mostly unavailable.

I feel like ThinkGeek which Gamestop owns might certainly be worth salvaging.

Actually the test market changes they were making in Oklahoma revolved around turn them into a gaming cafe with high end PCs people could play on and the ability to try out full games on the latest consoles. The testing has been inconclusive as of yet due to the pandemic.
