I don’t know maybe it’s a complaint about Microsoft’s Purchase of Bethesda? Like how they murdered Rare and turned them into the Kinect studio?  I don’t know just throwing ideas out there.

Nah, that would make entirely too much sense.

And I believe they should just introduce Turbann as an alternate Shellder evolution.

Despite the opinions of some in these comments, not all of the people on Twitch are trashy. I mean, the people who archive speedruns using twitch are alright and some events use it properly, but no one who uses it effectively and appropriately ever makes waves media wise so all you see is the worst of it. Also Project

Blacklist and Whitelist don’t have racial connotations, this is dumb. I always assumed blacklist was named as such because of how things look when they are redacted.

I think the Sony rep is saying it’s an “expansion” as in a continuation of the story. But it is a full stand alone game. He’s using a word that has a different meaning/connotation to most, it’s a little misleading.

Without reduced quality and annoying 5 minute loading screens I don’t see that happening based on the trailer. They could have a scaled back version thats more like the PS4 game but it would feature loading screens the PS5 game will either not have or be severely reduced.

Does it still allow for user created content?

Gotta say I prefer THPS1 soundtrack over this. And my favorite 2 songs will be missing from the THPS1 remaster, kinda makes me not as interested in buying it.

Without Comitted and Cyco Vision they just won’t be the same games. I listened to those songs for hours on the N64 version.

Hey, my friend Emii did the lyrics for that cover. Awesome!

Also the only real crook in the games is the Fox Red which you might know if you’d actually played the games! I mean Tom Nook has you pay back an initial pitance to get a house and then you are free to do as you please.

The loans in Animal Crossing are nothing like real life. Theres no deadline, no minimum payment, and no fees/interest.

A whole lot of those you mentioned only sell board games and/or trading card games. A couple of those only sell vintage games. I’ve been in nearly every one of the stores you listed and most of them are 40-60 minutes away from me. Of those you listed I can think only one that let’s you play arcade cabinets in the

None of those are internet/video game cafes. Sure we have plenty of table top game locations but that’s not what we are talking about. Also (nearly) all of those are on the extreme southside of the city very far away for a lot of people. And those you mentioned that do have games want you to get in buy and get out,

There’s only one table in the stores the size you are talking about. I frequent one of the small ones that was renovated. All the game displays and shelves are gone so that frees up a lot of space for the computer/console setups on the walls and then the table is in the middle. There’s a kiosk towards the front were

Playing on the tabletop is free.

I know I probably sound like a Gamestop shill at this point but they have layouts for this stuff that fits in to a standard Gamestop, no additional space needed. Though yeah the little remodel/furniture they have to get and the equipment cost is the major thing that will stop this rolling out to a lot of other

Nope, kids can’t play the games unattended under a certain age. I forget what it was, but that was one of my first questions when I saw my local Gamestop had been changed into one of these trial locations.

I mean in smaller towns in the past they’d often have launch parties and things for some games and we used to have fighting game tournaments when new games like Smash Bros and Street Fighters came out. At some point their corporate overlords put pressure on them to reduce that and make things a much lesser social
