A usable civilian PAPR would be great. I honestly can’t tell if that’s what they’re doing here, or if it’s just powering RGB.
Holy cow that hurts to watch. Why am I still watching?
Musicians and publishers can’t stop covers at all. They can stop samples, but covers are automatically allowed (the writers/composers have to be paid for it, however)
Fair point. Useless for me, but still worth thinking about.
This, by the way, is why my PS4 is essentially a wired controller, and my xbox is wireless. The DS4 is a good controller, but batteries get worse and worse over time. The only way to replace the battery is to replace the entire controller. Meanwhile, when some of my rechargeable batteries were dying, they were a very…
And despite all of the grieving here: it’s quite fun. Is it as good as SMB? No. Of course not. But it works. It’s a tight game, hard, but not throwing things across the room hard, the bosses are great, and I’ve been enjoying it. Honestly, I didn’t even know that the levels were procedurally generated.
Cyberpunk has better combat, DX has better level design
I’m betting they do exactly what they did with TW3: lots of free updates and small little pieces of free DLC, but then a few paid DLC story packs.
Honestly, I think that the writing and the plot are solid. I don’t think the writing is as good as, for instance, TW3, but looking at the Game Awards for narrative and I easily put it above 13 Sentinals and FF VII Remake, and on-par with Ghost of Tsushima.
I’m not sure what you mean by mission structure here: if…
If history teaches us anything it’s that, like The Witcher 3, which was released in a similar state, they will continue to work on the game until it is solidly playable, and release some decent story DLC.
It’s not a mediocre game though, and this part is very important to note. In fact, it’s a really good game. It’s just a really good game with some enormous technical problems on base consoles, and numerous glitches on better and next gen consoles and PCs. This, by the way, is exactly the same state that The Witcher 3…
Prime Directive absolutely nails it.
I mean...yeah. This is how you do body presence in first person in videogames. It has been for years.
It must be admitted that they got me. I bought Control there, and also Hades. It certainly didn’t hurt that they had those $10 coupons for new games.
I think you probably mean dynamic resolution. PS5 doesn’t currently support Variable Refresh Rate
Yeah, I did the same. Though the game crashed 5 times in a row halfway through the final mission, so I never “beat” it. I probably never will. It was fun enough, though.
The best part of this soundtrack (which is amazing) is that it introduced me to Amon Tobin who is a friggin’ genius. Seriously, Bricolage is a jazz album meets drum and base, all done through sampled noises. It’s so beautiful and harsh and melodic and insane. His work is so freaking great.
You seem to be operating under the assumption that I could care less about the “respect” of random idiots on Kotaku. I really could not. Especially since most of the minor insults I’ve levied against people are for them being fundamentally unable to read.
You’re not convinced that people are hyped? It must be hard being so thick-headed.
