Less crazy, as people are still subscribing, and they don’t have to deal with the extra bandwidth, and more MADDENING, because I’m one of those fools and their beautiful shows would look so much better with HDR, especially with how often they like to have important moments in the dark

Calm yourself. No one is saying the recruits are fools or dupes. Rather, they are saying that recruiters exaggerate, mislead, and lie as part of their techniques, getting people who are interested over the last hurdle, or misleading them about their chances at a desired MOS, how bonuses work, etc.

I’ll be honest, I died twice because I didn’t run away fast enough at first, but I was kind of surprised how easy the fight was. Throw 4 pipe bombs, blow through the entire flame thrower, and then it was only a handful of rifle shots (maybe rifle? Maybe hunting pistol?) and it went down. It chased me a bit, but I

Hello person who has still managed to miss the point over 3 years after I left the comment. The article is about how the Red cross wants to stop videogames from misusing their symbol. When videogame characters have this symbol, they are almost always a kind of a combat mechanic, which is a soldier for the purpose of

Yes and no. Some things are just so much more enjoyable to perform literally than through a button press, but most VR games also make liberal use of “just” the button press for actions. It’s really about finding that sweet spot.

Oh, right. Yeah. I forgot how annoyed I am that there are PSVR exclusives for a second. It is such a TERRIBLE experience, compared to the PC, where things like Index just make VR so much nicer. Sigh. Oh well.

Should the guy lose his job because he used his power to suggest that if she didn’t sleep with him, she would be blackballed? HELL YES. That is predatory as fuck.

The excuse was that he claimed it was so that his parent’s friends wouldn’t see him on TV and pester them about why he wasn’t married. And while that’s stupid, I have literally seen stuff like this. Also, I know a number of single female teachers who always wear rings when dealing with students to avoid them hitting

The dude got caught by the woman he was having an affair with. He had been lying about being married (he even ripped off the dead son, wife life plot from Origins!), and when the girl found out this was BS, she let Twitter know that he was a POS and if you thought that you were dating him, you might be in for a

WTF are you talking about? The side of the story here is HIS admitting that he is a sexual predator. We didn’t even talk about the accusations of him groping women (of which there are many)—you know, the actual other side that includes claims of sexual assault.

Yeah, that’s pretty rad.

Yeah, that’s pretty rad.

Seriously. I have been playing every day and I’m only twelve hours in. I’m like, okay, that was enough, time for a break.

I love it. The character feels like a real person. It isn’t snappy, like a videogame, it feels like I’m controlling someone like myself (athletic, but, you know, having a real body with actual momentum). Granted, fine movement when searching is a little annoying sometimes, but in combat, I feel like they nail it.

I’m just piling on, but yes, it really is. And this is because you are never safe, and the enemy is REALLY good at constantly trying to flank. They don’t automatically know where you are, but they do pay attention to what you’re doing. It means that it is next to impossible to be completely stealthy, and when the

Always remember, HR only exists to help the company by dealing with the people that will hurt their bottom line. Sometimes (not nearly enough) this means that they get rid of the harassers, and far too often this means they get rid of the people that report the harassers.

Look, Canada has plenty of problems, but only 2%? Not murdering and incarcerating POC at hilariously disproportionate rates only earns them 2%? Being MUCH better at enabling people to rise from poverty to wealth, regardless of background or race doesn’t earn them more than 2%? Jeez.

The first VR game they did was amazing and sold well, and the hype for the sequel is real. I think Facebook really wanted to lock them down for more VR games

They already made a VR game, Lone Echo, and it is amazing.

While I wouldn’t say I’m enjoying these games more than the depressing games (for instance I’m loving the sadness/gore-fest of TLOU2), I AM all the more happy to have these kinds of bright, pure-joy kinds of games. It makes me happy when developers are aware of the range of styles that can be engaging.
