Let me clarify: I’ve run pretty much everything (except for the newest games like Lone Echo) on an “unsupported” GTX 780 and it works just fine, and looks great, and a 970 is pretty comparable (it has more VRAM, but is slightly slower in some instances). You won’t be hurting at the minimum recommended specs.

The Vive, out of the box, is better, but both require relatively small frames.
