They run it when they run your license and reg and on the accident information sheet they print out for each party it has each others’ insurance policy info already documented on it based on what the DMV knows you have.

Hi, I have TSA Pre and fly twice a year. It’s not my fault the airport I fly out of decided to re-write the TSA Pre rules and tell me, in the Pre line, that I had to pull everything out of my bag anyways (eg, told me to take liquids out, etc).
