It was never an ability, it wasn't something you could actively choose but a game breaking bug that occurred and corrupted your game never allowing you to progress. That is something developers need to fix and yes spend money on to ensure their game "works"

http://www.examiner.com/article/here-s…

As much as I'd agree with that, the time/money spent already in the game is probably enough that they can't go back and recode two versions of the game then go through and re-localize it before releasing it after a big delay. It doesn't seem that big of a title to make up for possible losses.

Though perhaps they have

Wasn't that originally a bug? I'm fairly sure someone commented on the other article that it was a game breaking bug, meaning your save files became corrupted.

That sounds like something that needed to be patched.

No, it probably wouldn't. Not that I understand how their code is written nor do I understand how the game works in bringing children into the mix but I can assure you it's more work than just "commenting out a single line of code". For all we know major sections of scripts designed with specific variables would have

Of course, denying gay people the right to get married in a game about relationships and marriage is itself "social commentary."

I'm almost sure that there was a gameboy brought out called the Gameboy Light? Not 100% sure on this but it did have a backlight but might have only been released in Japan.

This is actually a really good point. Kudos!

Here we go with the endless "Glitching shouldn't be considered legitimate" comments.
Little do people know that glitching is perfectly acceptable and most of the time takes a lot more skill to pull off. Also there's multiple categories for OoT speedruns including, but not limited to: 100%, any%, MST(Medalions, Stones,

It's also because FPS game designers allow for 10% extra on scale for everything. (Doing games design course :D)

All I see is what usually happens during a beta. People get a code with free access to a game they KNOW is in beta which means it's not finished and will most likely have a lot of problems and yet they still complain when it's not working for them.

It's like no one has patience for anything anymore.

Nice little binary message at the top kotaku. I see what you did there >_>

Ahaha, ahahahahah, AHAHAHAHAHA.

"Also graphics are a HUGE factor in the next generation of video games. The Wii banked on being just plain fun. The Wii U is trying to come across as being an actual gaming device and it's just not really showing that off yet"

Hurray another 12 year old pot smoking wannabe.

You sound like one of those kids who would go around bullying nerds simply because you think you're better than them.

haha good one. 1/10

I have money on people complaining if there had been women presenting. The other side of the coin would have the same size, just different look. Instead of complaining about how it shows sexism by not having women on stage, it would complain that women in the gaming industry are being forced to these positions to

Because we need more women to take a step away from Journalism and actually get noticed on their way up to these positions. Most women complain about not making it into their dream positions but whinge about the hard work we all go through trying to get there. I'm getting my foot in the door as a young Uni student
