Have a 2010 IS250 AWD. Can confirm. Maintenance on these are a pain, too. Dealer wanted $800 to change the spark plugs. Did it myself, but it was a pain. Had to remove the intake manifold to get to the plugs. No wonder the dealer charged so much for labor. Now I’m seeing issues with the carbon buildup.

Great story, and I’ve always loved the C43 (we only had the lowly C280). Great color, too!

I took Amtrak from NJ to Baltimore a couple years ago and it was a pleasant experience. But any distance longer than that (like your experience), no way.

I have a relative that had a Wish (went back to Taiwan last year), and it was just as you described. Surprisingly spacious for transporting people around town, not too big outside (some of the side roads are narrow). Reminds me of the old JDM Odysseys.

We have a 2010 IS250 and cannot fit a rear facing seat in the back, unless the driver’s seat is all the way up front.
