Glad I got mine before the tofu tax. They are getting harder and harder to find...almost more worthwhile to import one from Japan.

Thanks for the compliment! I’ve got all my organs intact for now, but in the case I need one in the future I’ll make sure to come back to this post. :) Here’s a better pic of my car.

Preserve the pop ups! And Happy 86 Day everyone!

Same here! Except I won a 3 day program through a Honda giveaway on Friendster. :) My instructor was Joe Foster, who eventually partnered and co-drove with Patrick Dempsey. Man, that was fun.

Man, you guys get your own t-shirts? I just use the free ones that I get from vendors. :)

Beautiful pics...can’t wait to visit that area the next time I’m in Japan. I’ll keep my AE86 as long as possible. At least the new BRZ/FRS/86's aren’t that much bigger.

That is seriously one of the most awesome plaque/awards. Ever.

Nice pic, sweet car! I’m really considering this for my daily (and it would go well with the AE86).

I had a 91 EX coupe...automatic, running on 3 out of 4 cylinders. That car looked great...and the greenhouse was huge! Wish I had the money back then to swap in a H22 motor. I’m sure I’d be driving it to this day if I did!

Why get this when you can get a Toyota Cressida wagon, which is RWD, comes in brown, and you can do a 1JZ/2JZ swap to it. :) I remember seeing one at a shop, and the only thing on the exterior that gave it away was the stock Supra TT wheels on it. Here’s an example of one:

Definitely need to get rid of the front plate rule. I don’t like the color either...looks like someone pee’d on the top of the plate and the yellow just ran down...ugh. I’ve always liked the simple clean plates of TX or DE. Oh, and the NY ones with the Statue of Liberty.

Agreed! Just a bunch of people who loved cars, no matter what they were. Had some great conversations with people throughout the day. Maybe next time we can have some food trucks nearby. :) I was getting hungry.

Hi Kristen! It was great meeting/chatting with you! Glad you brought out the legendary C32. :) Keep up the great work, and I hope to see you at the next event! Thanks for taking all the pics yesterday!

It was great meeting you and the staff! Great turnout, cool cars, cool people...maybe in the springtime we can have a meet/bbq in Liberty State Park? It would make for a nice backdrop. -the guy with the panda AE86

The PS4 costs more in Taiwan from what I recall...my cousin there asked me to bring one from the US the next time I visit because we have them cheaper here at retail cost, and even cheaper when they’re on sale.

I built this rig with about $20 worth of PVC from Home Depot. Got the seat from a junkyard with a totaled Evo for $75.

Tomica tofu drift!

Fall cruise this past weekend.
