Ah, well. Skaters gonna skate. I guess a fade-to-black option versus the default fade-to-white "you fell off your board" reset would be helpful?

It's a game with giant robots, but (based on the demo, which I played and loved) the controls make for a fast-paced but wonderful action experience where melee combat is as useful as ranged abilities.

"Oct. 23 release Zone of Enders HD Collection (Xbox 360, PS3) is $29.99"

To be honest, I did miss that, sorry. That sounds like ... that reminds me heavily of what she said fairly early in the movie, making that sort of character development seem very sudden (i.e., that sort of change of heart would have made better sense if it had come at the end of the film after a series of experiences

Triss, Triss, Triss, Triss, Triss. Such a great outfit. All these costumes were good, though. Ponyo was a fantastic movie. Juliet Starling (Lollipop Chainsaw) deserves a special mention, and this interpretation is better (in my opinion) than Jessica Nigri's well-known outfit.

Hmm. Thanks!

That doesn't really make sense, and it never has—good would still be good without the presence of evil, and the opposite holds true as well. Why should "good" only be definable in the context of evil? Evil has no intrinsic value, and we all rightly should look forward to the day when it no longer exists.

I was extremely impressed with the Binary Domain Xbox 360 demo, but I don't know if my computer would run the game. (I think I'd rather play it on my 360, though.)

Thanks for the advice!

Duly noted, thanks!

Yep, I've noticed, and I enjoy that difficulty when it doesn't feel cheap (one enemy knocks me down; another one kills me while the getting-up animation is still playing). Very good game, thanks.

I was thinking more along the lines of a "new" game (i.e., this generation), but thanks. I have played a large part of that game on a rental. Very good.

I want to see a new game that's basically nothing but really creative, extended, tough-to-figure-out boss fights.

I've been extremely impressed with Pokémon Conquest so far. The main story may be easy and short, but it's still a lot of fun; a number of the post-game missions, of which there are dozens, are much more difficult, with much more aggressive AI. You also get to play as several different characters, each with his or

I think it's at this point where the game becomes extraordinarily pretentious to an extent far beyond its actual worth. The gameplay was good, even excellent at times (especially with the last level), but the story was a fairly simple and eventually rather warped allegory set to gorgeous art and licensed music.

This is gonna make games with limited activations very interesting.

That was pretty neat, thanks. It's kind of ironic, because when (minor Braid spoiler) the music actually did reverse in the next to last world (end minor Braid spoiler), I thought it sounded horrible. Now the last level itself was phenomenal, and in my mind it's weird that a game that exists pretty much for the sake

Personally I adored the last level but hated the post-game story.
