An opinion is an opinion, I suppose, but it could potentially be shown that his opinions may not be what the majority of Lollipop Chainsaw fans want (almost forgot the name of the game).

"If you want a great zombie game, wait for Black Ops II."

The armor looks terrible, but the combat kinda motivates me. Or it would if Pokémon Conquest weren't coming out Monday.

Fifty gigs of hard drive space. Uh-huh.

I still don't understand why on Earth they don't just make Half-Life 3 or Half-Life 2: Episode Three or whatever it is people want. I don't even care for what I've played of those games, but it seems like Valve is sitting on an absurd pile of consumer demand and doing nothing with it.

I think I can agree with that. If I "knew" that the next scene was going to be the big shock scene, I think the atmosphere and the horror would be lost (though, truth be told, I was still disturbed by the sheer volume of the following imagery).

The executive producer was trying to get players (likely male ones?) to protect and coddle Lara. [kotaku.com]

Interestingly (if thoughtfully), Modern Warfare had at least two such screens (start of campaign, just before the scene in question), plus you could skip the whole level at any time while in the middle of it anyway.

EA wins. That one wasn't their fault. That Tomb Raider example annoys me to death. Make up your mind!

I have to wonder what kind of consumer demand there was for a Left 4 Dead prequel, especially not one designed to "explore the origins of the zombie virus from Left 4 Dead." I personally never got the impression that the series was very story-heavy, and as for the story itself, I suppose it's clear how that ended.

I'd forgotten about that, thanks. That's a beautiful color, though I wish it covered the whole remote (except for the buttons).

That's beautiful! I'd love to see this done with a 360 controller.

Welcome to Kotaku.

"You know, Deus Ex had its moments of violence, but they were designed - whether they succeeded or not I can't say - but they were designed to make you uncomfortable, and I don't see that happening now."

... Oh.

That one I missed, thanks.

"Genghis Khan"

It's personally not really my thing, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
