I’m as much for hating on Dejoy as anyone but Oshkosh is kinda known for their practicality and durability. They don’t make a lot of things but the things they make last.

What benefit would looking good have here? USPS is the ultimate in utilitarian practicality. They live up to the mandate of universal delivery with minimal control over their pricing. A task that no commercial enterprise would even attempt. The physical appearance of their vehicles is absolute last in their priority.

Also need a permit

Having lived in Phoenix for 20 years and had friends working at dealerships at various points I'm willing to be most Hispanic employees were not in a position to do anything about it or even be aware of the policies.

It's a car dealership so their reputation is generally crap from the onset. Sure some are better than others but I don't think anyone would be all that shocked regardless of it was a "good" dealership beforehand.

From a technology standpoint it would seem there should be some way to combine NFT tech with the AI models such that the original artist owns the token and can license it's use. Wasn't proving ownership of a digital good the whole idea of the dumb things? In this case the digital good is the LLM for the artists voice.

Stack Overflow posts question about “how to stay profitable” on Stack Overflow. This is followed by several replies about how “staying profitable” is the wrong question. Then a couple replies about “staying profitable” but only in completely unrelated industries. After the thread goes dead for six months to a year

There’s a shot when they’re putting it down when you can see the skirts pretty clear. Like the old Lotus F1 but more flared. If it were my design I’d duct it over the batteries for cooling then down out the middle of the back. It’s not clear exactly what they’re doing with the air.

It really loses a lot outside of context. It just looks like someone dancing in a weird dress. Maybe they're just way too fluid.

Yeah. That’s super cynical.

I dunno, they did the E-Ray. Perhaps a new Camaro E-Roc?

That's funny. I'm the same height. I tried the Challenger. To me the Camaro just felt more "race car" than "muscle car". I can see fine particularly when I put the top down. That wasn't an option on the Dodge.

That thing looks like it's designed to snort a rail as it drives. Maybe there's a hose inside to blow it up the driver's nose too.

Quiet lots of quiet. Also solid. Find yourself a 1990s Honda and a Volvo. Then slam the doors you’ll get it then.

We call this an editorial teaching moment.

Yeah the trend took a while to die and gets reborn every so often with crap like this post. I did cable installs for a while in the late 90's and saw a ton of these in various forms. All crap.

Yup one of those 70s hearth living rooms I'm betting. A giant fireplace flanked by shelving. My Aunt has one and it's the same thing.

Just like human orphans!

Yeah, that’s food though. If you order food, you’re going to be there. I order socks from Amazon I don’t care if they leave them on my doorstep for a while. These bots make for “priority” deliveries where you know someone is there waiting for the package

What about the “cgi not complete” X-Men Origins: Wolverine. That was truly one of the great rare events.
