Yikes, round here I’d balk at 50c. Just today I paid 3.30 for 93 while 87 was 2.93. That’s about where I’m ok, anything over ~15% is gouge IMO. At 50-60c you’re into 20-25%.

Yeah, I’ve been on premium only cars for 8years now and I definitely pick my gas stations on the upcharge ratio. Sucks that places have stopped putting 93 on the sign too.

People don’t complain about a truck as a commuter if it’s still a truck on the weekends. It’s the trucks that are only commuters. It’s the same flavor of douche plumeage as having the lambo just to rev it and roll around at city speeds.
