Yeah. Last year I decided to run some cruise control tests (disproving the myth that CC gets better mileage... It didn’t). I ran 4 tanks of fuel alternating one tank with CC and one without in my daily commute. When cruise was on I could feel my attention diminishing. It was unnerving, never again.

50 states with 50 sets of rules and regulations is a big problem for lots of things... The contiguous 48 have had stable borders for 100 years and communication and travel is no longer an issue. Perhaps it’s time to be one country.

My mother in law got a 2017 HRV... Though it was “pre owned” with 134 miles on it. Not sure how that happened, but I do love the idea of pre-depreciated new vehicles.

Totally agree. The 569's I got in the early 00s lasted something like 10-15 years before developing wear holes. The pairs of 569's I got online and at Macy’s in the last 5yrs to replace the originals have developed holes in 1-2yrs. If they have to raise the price to keep the quality up they should. I’m tempted to try

Nothing embarrassing about looking up an answer to a problem. There is however plenty of embarrassment in breaking something when you could have just looked up the answer in less time than it too to break it. 😉

Enjoy irrelevance then.

Why stop at coal and steel? Why not go back to wood and bronze?

Trofeo R and Pilot Cup 2 “barely legals” are par for the course.

... and to crush puss.

The buyers are also apparently not test driving thier $50k purchase. If the gear selector is confusing and you still buy it, it’s your fault. Car makers would use less confusing controls if people stopped buying them.

Re 1st gear: “it’s a feature not a bug”

To play devil’s advocate... We also have internet access that can tell you how a specific lockout works in a few seconds. I never stop being amazed by how many people get frustrated trying to figure out how to work something or need a basic fact but never reach for the iPhone in thier pocket.

They already have free trade agreements with ~45 countries. Mexico has been doing more than suckling the American teet for years.

And Disney can fire whoever they want... These people seem to think Disney never worked with Sam Kinison because the media would shame them, rather than it being a silly idea for a children’s content producer to be partnering with content thier customers don’t want.

Don’t think it’s possible for me to comprehend why they said no to $740 million. When an established OEM in the industry offers you nearly a billion dollars for your one-trick-pony of a company... You fucking take it, that’s called winning.

Meanwhile AWS makes all the profit.

Bonus chromosome is Downs Syndrome.

Autism wasn’t even diagnosed before 1980 when it was added to the DSM. Before that it was childhood schizophrenia. Combine that with more attention and societal acceptance of mental health in general and you get more cases as time goes by. That’s pretty obvious logic.

To be fair Gandhi was kind of asshole when it came to not-India

WTF? Why ruin all that bacon?
