They made up some time ago. Unless they are feuding again and I don’t know about it.

I know not much about Arnold Palmer, the golfer. However, I do know that his ice tea cans can be repurposed into wonderful stash containers for pot, paraphernalia, money, and anything you can imagine. So for that, I will always remember him. Rest in peace, good sir, and thanks for the memories. 87 years is a good run.
I watched this last week and haven’t stopped giggling since. You know, I was a Bernie gal at the beginning, but ever since Hillary became the nominee, I’ve been 100% for her. The more she does stuff like this, the more she endears herself to the public. She’s hilarious, she’s smart, and she’s playing the game very,…
“Eyes without a Face” is a classic. I rewatched that one a few weeks ago. So eeries, and so very sad.
You do! The latest episode was a take on “Jiro Dreams of Sushi”, and I was seriously choking up at the end of it. It wasn’t as “ha ha” funny as other episodes have been, but it was beautifully done and had pretty high emotional stakes as well. It was absolutely perfect.
It is amazing! I will warn you that it’s pretty gory, but no worse than those Walking Dead series. It’s hilarious and zany and a perfect continuation of the original Evil Dead films. And the episodes are only a half hour long, but they’re so jam packed with action that they never lag and they leave you wanting more.
I’m going to see The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari in the huge theater at our art museum next month with a live organist providing accompaniment. That is such a fantastic film.
I love that one! I’ve had it on DVD for years and years. It is too good. One of my favorite dystopian society films ever.
You did nothing wrong and I am totally behind you. Good job.
With regard to Phi Phi, she is the one that gave the editors everything they had to work with. For example, look at the end of the episode. She’s the one who snubbed Alyssa as she tried to hug her after the elimination. She’s the one who made the snide comment about “can I keep the statue? Can I at least sell this for…
I figured I’d put some of that German I’ve been learning to good use. :-)
We can only cross our fingers and hope he stays away. While there are plenty of nice gentlemen here, it seems like there quite a few melodramatic heissluftgebläses here as well, both concern trolling and just trying to play the victim. It’s really quite annoying and is one of the reasons why I stepped back for awhile.
Yes! Les Diaboliques was the second Clouzot film I saw because I just had to watch more of his stuff. That film was something else. I can see why Alfred Hitchcock viewed him as a rival, because that movie kept me on the edge of my seat more than Psycho did when I originally saw it. His wife Vera was one hell of an…
Hi, Pumpkin Andy! That’s a really neat photo effect on the kitty! As for fall TV, it hasn’t really started for me yet. All I have is Documentary Now, RuPaul’s Drag Race and South Park, and Ash. vs. Evil Dead doesn’t start for another week.!
Man, I’ve barely been around here these last several months and just started posting again a couple weeks ago, and this is the shit I come back to? Still, not sorry to see him go. He’ll be back though, because they always come back and you can’t exactly delete a kinja account.
This week is my better half’s birthday, and to help her celebrate the big 3-0, I’ve ordered a chocolate macaron cake for her. So I am very, very, very much looking forward to that macaron cake, since I didn’t get to enjoy my birthday cake last month. And I get to surprise her with tickets for Book of Mormon as her…
Guten Abend, Jezebellians! I’m taking a break from my German lessons and I have advanced from my silent film kick, so now I am watching some old talkie foreign films. So a question for you all: what’s your favorite classic foreign film? Preferably one that is not in your native language? Right now, it is a toss up…
The DNA in her underwear matched the DNA on her long johns, and yeah, there was DNA under her fingernails that they got a partial profile from. And yes, it is likely that they probably washed these things before having her wear them. Even if they didn’t though, the idea that two wildly different garments would be made…
But the DNA on her underwear matches the DNA on her long johns, something that is highly unlikely to have two pieces coming from the exact same manufacturer, being made by the exact same sweatshop worker, not being washed, making it all the way to the Ramsey home, and being worn. Police were excluded for accidental…
DNA in her underwear, her long johns, under her fingernails. I didn’t watch the special, but those are the facts of the case, and that can’t be explained away by some garment manufacturer in Bangkok as some like to assert.
