Heck do you even need to put the cone on the car? I’d think even just one cone sitting on the pavement in front and in back wouldnt allow the vehicle to move (unless it’s programmed to hit things).

there is no law against “touching” someone’s car. It can only be vandalism if there is actual damage to the vehicle. maybe put a towel under the traffic cone and what are they going to arrest you for?
You know when the algorithms are cool will hitting dogs on purpose, the companies behind them are pure evil. I am all for this.
The GNX is the very definition of all GO and no SHOW. I honestly hate the Grand National/GNX, it’s just such an eyesore from a terrible era of car design. Performance wise, it was great for it’s time, but could you imagine if they just made it a decent looking car, the thing would have rightfully been a legend,…
but I have long held it’s the ENGINE not the car as the reason they are so revered.
Huh? The GT-R has a long race history that started back in the 60s. Its performance is literally the reason why it earned the nickname “Godzilla”.
Completely wrong.
The Buick Grand National/GNX were actually pretty fast for the mid 1980s, faster than a contemporary Corvette AMOF, and they have an extremely loyal following to this day.
I dig this. The machine ain’t going to rage against itself, ya know.
The cone must work, I’ve never heard of it moving.
If blocking a vehicle with a cone gives Waymo the legal right to prosecute, then I should be able to prosecute the hell out of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
If Waymo is going to take legal action over someone stopping a car with a cone, everyone else ought to take legal action against Waymo for all the times they’re blocking traffic.
They’ve got some weird self-driving cars in Glasgow.
“this is vandalism”
NARRATOR: It isn’t vandalism.
LOL @ vandalism. Also LOL that any cop is going to give a singular shit about someone putting a cone on the hood of a car.
Every self-driving car put into service should have to pass a driving test like everyone else.
Obviously you shouldn’t place it on a Waymo that is already blocking a bus lane, but pick a decent time and place. I think this is absolutely brilliant. Screw our AI overlords.
AI is simply adding this to the long list of reasons of why they will annihilate humans once they take over.
Are we sure this isn’t happening in Glascow?
